Starting a new thread because we got to 999 replies!

Fuck sake, got a static smiley on my ovulation test. DP will be home about 10pm tonight. I doubt he'll be in the mood. Will make an effort to bd tomorrow but that's really going to be it, isn't it? He's been gone since Thursday so we haven't bd since maybe last Monday. Ovulation is usually 24-36 hours later. Who else does those tests?

@ForGiddyDreameroh wow you ovulate early don't you! I won't get my peak until next Sunday.

I worry that I ovulate too soon! I see on here people saying they don't ov until cd 16 or even 21. Some months I get the static on cd 11, others it's cd 13. But my luteal phase is always 13-14 days.

I'm on 6 or 7 DPO (I think I may have ovulated on the 13th not 100% sure though) and had some very light cramping the last couple of days so I'm hoping that's a positive sign XD

@ForGiddyDreamer I don't use those tests but I would assume OV will be within 24-36 hours like you say. Try for tonight, but if not tomorrow morning 🤞🏻

@ForGiddyDreamerI for my static smiley on CD9 this cycle and it's my first time using these. I did get what I thought was the start of ovulation pain CD8 late evening though. It worries me I ovulate too early for it to be a healthy egg.

Got my blood results back after a fertility panel was done and it all says normal, app with docs on Wednesday to discuss but I can't see that they tested progesterone ? Still waiting on the ultrasound appointment xx

Hi, really late but I’d like to join please!
Been TTC since February.
I got several positive tests from 10th June and great line progression to I stopped testing after I got to 2-3w on CB digital. Sadly I started bleeding a couple of weeks later and EPU confirmed an early miscarriage 💔
OPKs said I ovulated around 9th July which I think would make me 11dpo (I’ve not had a period since the MC bleed)
I’ve had a few evap lines in the last few days, all on CB! One of which showed during the time frame! I knew it was an evap because it was really thin, il try and upload a pic! Not holding out much hope as the rest have been negative since.
I feel like I’ve been driving myself mad scrutinising these damn tests when they’re clearly just evaps, just feels so unfair when they do that! 😩🤦‍♀️

I’d also like to say, before I got my first positive back in June, my Apple Watch notified me to say that my resting heart rate had been higher for 5 days! Never happened before and this is what prompted me to test!

same test, the first pic is after 10 mins and the second is about 2 mins after taking. They have colour in real life.

@ForGiddyDreamer your cycle sounds like mine I think, and this is my 4th time conceiving, if that's any comfort or not I'm not sure! Cos obviously I have had the two losses before and this one is v v v early days. In fact I realised I've never found out this early before, 3w 2d aka CD 24 / 11DPO. But yeah, sorry about DP just getting back tonight, timing could be better. If he can be persuaded to BD tonight and/or tomorrow you would absolutely have a chance though. Imagine if you were trying to prevent pregnancy, you'd 100% avoid tonight and tomorrow!! Good luck x

@Starlightnights this is wild, CB need to have a word with themselves! Outrageous if evaps. I'm no expert but you sound confident they're sadly not genuine positives. So sorry about your loss in feb. It's shit. Was that your first pregnancy? Welcome btw.

Thanks @Kerrylf & @hollyhocks2 He's only home 20 mins, definitely not happening tonight. Will do tomorrow though. So strange though I've no usual ov signs. My cm isn't eg white or anything, it's almost cloudy. There's no way I've missed it! I have a CB pink holder upstairs and did it and it was showing low fertility. I wonder was my pee just super concentrated. I did test with the advanced this morning and got low fertility and then tested again in the afternoon and got the static.

PS so much for not stressing over ovulation tests 😂🙃

@Starlightnightsi think I ovulated 10th July so similar and I got those exact lines on the clearblue this cycle and last and I'll never buy them again, it's so cruel! I took an FRER one and was negative but I'm holding out now for AF as I think it's having a negative impact testing so much. Only taken me 6 months to realise this ha! Got my fingers crossed for you.

@hollyhocks2no, I just had it taken 7 days before expected period. The results are named Serum oestradiol level and Gonadotrophin level. I have the figures and they all say normal.

@ForGiddyDreameri think I read that the advanced tests should only be used once a day with first morning wee. Multiple uses might throw the reader off potentially and you aren't actually in your peak yet. Have a read but I deffo saw that somewhere when I bought them myself x

@hollyhocks2thank you. From research, it seems it’s a real common issue sadly. Just frustrating that it seemed to show within the timeframe. I’ve not had it show up before. I’m pretty sure they’re not genuine. This was Friday evening (couldn’t help myself 🙄) and all tests have been stark white, or negative since. TTC my 2nd. First was born 2023 and I’d not been on any contraception for 6 years. We were trying, but not trying for about 4 years, then properly for 2. I’d had scans and was just about to go for more testing when I fell the first time. Didn’t go on any contraception after and didn’t want to leave it too long before TTC again as didn’t want to miss any potential chance. How about you?

@Kerrylfoh isn’t it so frustrating! Honestly so evil 😔 the first test I took with my MC pregnancy was the ultra early digital and it came up positive straight away, this was the day I was due AF though. I think they’re quite sensitive. It seems this is the only brand I can find locally that have the early/sensitive ones. Maybe il look at ordering online? Can’t seem to find the FRER anywhere else. I feel like I’ve become obsessed with testing since my loss? Maybe just clinging onto some kind of hope. I had cramps at 9&10dpo, more so at 10 which is why I tested. Thank you. Fingers crossed for you too, although i definitely feel like I’m out for this month.

@Starlightnightsim the exact same. My loss was in late Jan but drawn out towards end of Feb and I have been obsessed with testing ever since, including ovulation. Multiple times a day just in case. It's horrible what it does to you. This community seems to be the only place that understands it xx

No I wasnt really tracking ovulation. Second month of unprotected sex.
So could just be a few days out maybe.

Still can’t believe how bad CB evaps are. It’s cruel. They’re so expensive to be that crap. I think we should all boycott them!

I’m CD13, usually ov CD17 so preparing for a busy 5 days 😆🫠

@Kerrylfit’s just awful what it does to you. Like you say, it’s good to know you’re not alone and others are going through the same. I’m ashamed to say I’ve taken 7 tests since the evap on Friday 🤦‍♀️ I think DP would go mad with how much I’ve spent on tests, so maybe it is best not to order them online just yet 😅 xx

Welcome @Starlightnights Im sorry to hear about your loss. Just adding to the CB pregnancy test boycott. I had a shocker of an evap last month. It's in the chat somewhere. I wont use their preg tests anymore. Agree FRER is difficult to get. I'm in Ireland and have to order from UK amazon to get them.

Did a normal 10miu test yesterday and still had a line though just the same as the ones previous.
Tempted to do a clear blue digital. But was only around 9 or 10 dpo on the 18th so I'm thinking with that test being 25miu therefore not as sensitive, in waiting a couple more days when I'm properly more around 14dpo?

Still spotting but it's more like discoloured discharge but it's there. It's just like slightly tinged redy/pinky/maybe orangey coloured.

Ectopic in January spotting was more ready and even brown and loads of pain. Don't have pain just maybe twinges...
Very very scared
