@hollyhocks2oh wow 🥰 I bloody love seeing these bfps! I completely understand how you will be feeling. Pregnancy after loss definitely takes the shine off it a little. But right now you're pregnant 😍 so you've been trying since your last 2 losses? How long has that been x

hollyhocks2 · 20/07/2025 08:00

I've had a busy few days with family celebrations which was an excellent distraction at the end of the TWW.

I'm 11DPO today and I have a faint but clear second line (is more pink than it looks in the photo). After my two early losses in autumn/winter I feel very cautious. I'm pleased but not elated, I'm not anxious but I can't say I'm excited either. It's a weird feeling. I know you'll all understand. Let's see what the next couple of weeks bring I guess!

Oh bless you I'm so happy to see this. I'm going to be a little excited on your behalf even if you're not ready to be if that's ok? I can totally understand your hesitation though, that's healthy self preservation. Sending love and praying this one sticks 🙏🏻🤞🏻❤️😘 xxx

SureLook · 20/07/2025 09:10

@hollyhocks2 yay, tentative congratulations. Fingers crossed for a sticky bean 🤞🏻

DorsetGirl89 · 20/07/2025 09:10

Morning all! FRER was negative this morning but I think I'm only 8DPO. I have a strong suspicion I implanted yesterday morning, I felt pulls and twinges and had a small amount of pink tinged CM for a couple of hours. By yesterday afternoon I felt inexplicably rough, I was dizzy, nauseous, absolutely exhausted, I had to get into bed at 5pm and barely left till now 🥴 my mouth feels so weird, dry but not at the same time, a strange taste in it. My nipples are feeling sensitive, and weirdly my skin is itchy all over. I keep sneezing like my late grandfather too 🤧😆 I knew it was too early to test, but I thought if I implanted yesterday morning it might JUST show up this morning, but that was wishful thinking. My PDG test is positive this morning again, so progesterone seems good 🤞🏻 if I'm not pregnant I have the strangest virus symptoms I've ever had. I'm also feeling hopeful as this time last cycle I was cramping quite badly and brown spotting continued and got heavier, so that doesn't seem to be happening this time which feels reassuring. I wasn't going to test at all until 10DPO (my first vvfl with my chemical) but I've started the testing rollercoaster now though, so I know I'll keep going 🫣 I have 8 FRERs so might as well use one a morning until I know 🤷🏻‍♀️

Honestly, around 8/9DPO things start to get wild right? I feel guilty wanting to wish a whole day away and fast forward to tomorrow morning 😆

SureLook · 20/07/2025 09:17

@DorsetGirl89 sounds promising. Once you start testing it's hard to stop! I've had implantation bleeding twice and tested positive the same day so you never know, you could test positive by the end of the day.

ThatNimbleOP · 20/07/2025 05:20

Hello everyone,

13DPO, or 12DPO…(really need to start temping!) AF not arrived yet.

Has anyone just had a feeling they were pregnant. Had it with my first and weirdly just “knew” yesterday but then the feeling left a few hours later 😂 bodies are so weird. Either way not woken up to red this morning but plenty of time for that. Not testing!!

If no period by next Wednesday I’ll test. No more intense cramping though, was only a couple of days.

Yes! I just feel different somehow. My tummy is a little better today but still a raised temperature & feeling quite flushed. Increased urination too (TMI, sorry!).

DorsetGirl89 · 20/07/2025 09:20

@ThatNimbleOP well done for not testing! I honestly admire such restraint, I simply do not possess that ability in one bone of my body 😆

Trust your intuition, if you're really in tune with yourself then yes I totally believe you know. I knew last cycle before the tests, and many years ago with a m/c, I wasn't even trying /wanting to get pregnant and I knew I was before I tested and before I missed AF.

Really hoping you get your BFP soon ❤️

BambinaBoo · 20/07/2025 09:25

DorsetGirl89 · 20/07/2025 05:32

@BambinaBoo I'd recommend waiting as long as you can honestly if you don't want to drive yourself nuts 😆 How long have you been TTC? If not long try to stay relaxed about it and don't test until your period is due ideally. (Although most of us find that impossible, so only you know yourself there) Do you know you're ovulating and both of you are fertile? For me personally as stressful as last cycle was, early testing let me know I had a chemical pregnancy (first positive 10DPO), but totally negative at 12DPO, so if I hadn't early tested I wouldn't have known at all, at least I know now that we managed to conceive and if I had another chemical I could let me Dr know there was a pattern. Also, depends what tests you have? If you're using the most sensitive tests then start testing around 9DPO if you're feeling the need! Have you had any symptoms or implantation signs? HCG isn't usually high enough in first morning urine for at least 2 days after implantation and that normally happens 6-12DPO, so that's why people normally get first faint positives ranging from 8DPO (although that's still super early) to 14DPO (although most have lost hope by then, a late implantation means a late positive!). Either side of those windows aren't unheard of, but less likely.

In short, 7DPO is most likely too early, although not impossible, most people don't get positives until 9DPO onwards on the FRERs and often later, so hold out for a couple of days if you can. Hope you got back to sleep! 😆❤️

Hey, DG!

It is SO difficult waiting but I’m gonna hold off until Tuesday which will be 9DPO.

I am experiencing cramping, a slightly raised temperature & increased urination (TMI, sorry!).

overwork · 20/07/2025 09:28

Oh it’s wonderful seeing all these positives coming through!
Well we definitely won’t be having an April baby, the weather kindly turned cooler for me, (I don’t test but I guess I will ovulate today), but I’ve got some virus thing, started on Friday with sweats, achy limbs, fatigue and a headache / dizziness that I couldn’t shake. I feel slightly more with it today but I’m so achy and exhausted still, and also have back ache which, coupled with EWCM last few days, is what makes me think I’m ovulating today.
Best of look to those testing again today, would love to see even more good news!

BambinaBoo · 20/07/2025 09:28

SureLook · 20/07/2025 07:37

@BambinaBoo some people start testing from 8dpo but you may not have even implanted by then. Early testing became a very negative experience for me so I try and hold out until 12dpo minimum. You're more likely to get a fairly accurate result by then and there's no wondering and hopes building to then be disappointed. When is AF due?

@ThatNimbleOP well done on holding out with the testing 👏🏻 when is AF due? I knew I was pregnant on my third pregnancy (blighted ovum) before I tested. I was emotional, tired and my stomach was rock hard. The biggest giveaway though was a craving for McDonald's 😂

AF due 27th! I’ve got a couple of tests so going to try 9DPO then 12DPO. Thanks for your advice!

Interesting! So was your implantation bleeding pink or brown? 🤔 I think I actually felt implantation yesterday and had pink CM quite soon after (within hours), so I don't think when I tested this morning about 4.30am it had even been 24 hours. Last month I didn't have any pink spotting, it was already brown by the time I saw any, so I must've implanted early (5 or 6DPO I think) and it took a while for it to travel through.

There's no point me testing later, I drink so much water during the day that my pee is always practically clear by evening, same reason I never get accurate LH readings later in the day like you're supposed to. FMU seems to be my best bet, so if I wake up in night and need to pee it's so frustrating because I need the full night hold!

There's no such thing as TMI here lovely, don't worry 😆 keeping everything crossed for 🤞🏻😘

@overwork sorry to hear you're feeling unwell. That sounds like a nasty dose!

@BambinaBoo best of luck!

@DorsetGirl89 I know. It's a bit strange cause everything you read says you won't see a BFP until a couple of days after implantation bleeding. Mine was pink. Nothing in my knickers, just there when I wiped. I didn't have a clue on my first pregnancy, I thought it was my period. But on my second one it's what prompted me to test when I saw it and it was positive.
Yeah, that is annoying. I drink a lot of water too and it's good to be hydrated, especially at this time. Tomorrow morning it is so!

hollyhocks2 · 20/07/2025 11:28

Thank you guys. Yes @ChaE05 we took a break of 4 cycles and then restarted TTC. This is the 5th cycle since then. Just hope against hope that this one sticks. Maybe I'll be one of those women who gets lucky once they start investigations. Haven't had any test results back yet but I know the GP will be happy for me to go on progesterone now so I'll get that sorted tomorrow.

ThatNimbleOP · 20/07/2025 11:34

My period started about 1 hour ago….devastated but also realising your mind can absolutely play tricks on you, really thought I was!!

On the plus side, this is the most hormonal period I’ve had since they returned PP and I’m actually having mild cramps. Periods whilst breastfeeding were completely crampless and I barely had much PMS. Hoping this is all a good sign and hormones are gearing up again!!!

So exhausted though, month 10 TTC. 2 weeks since stopping breastfeeding…maybe 5th proper cycle trying.

ChaE05 · 20/07/2025 12:12

@hollyhocks2very happy for you and really pray this is your rainbow baby 🌈 I had 2 losses back to back and currently on my 5th cycle since then. We were trying for 3 months before the mcs. Nobody has ever mentioned progesterone to me. I have always worried that was my issue. Partner has his semen analysis on Tues. Gives me hope hearting stories like yours! How old are you? I'm 38 so that's also probably a big factor for me x

ForGiddyDreamer · 20/07/2025 12:14

Oh @hollyhocks2 delighted for you ❤️

SureLook · 20/07/2025 12:25

@ThatNimbleOP aww, I'm sorry AF arrived. It sounded so positive for you. But it seems like your hormones are getting ready again so that's good.

amey44 · 20/07/2025 13:10

3dpo today and starting to get really nervous incase it’s a bfn again. I’ve not got pregnant any other time so i’m thinking why would I this time especially when our issue is my partners sperm:/

I did try to do the cough syrup this cycle as that apparently helps the sperm swim but I stopped taking it day 13 as i’m pretty sure it delayed my ovulation? We did successfully use the conceive plus lube though so i’m hoping that helps even though i’ve just read it doesn’t actually help just doesn’t kill sperm like other lubes

hollyhocks2 · 20/07/2025 13:35

Thank you @ChaE05 that's lovely of you. I'm 35 (DP 37) so not much younger. Our stories sound similar. NICE guidelines recommend that after 2 miscarriages a GP can prescribe progesterone once a new pregnancy has begun if there is bleeding. I don't think all GPs would prescribe it without bleeding but others argue there is no harm in it.
I'm praying that it's just a matter of time for you and me to get our rainbows. And hopefully not much longer ✨ what CD are you?

@ThatNimbleOP oh I'm so sorry, hope you can have a quiet sad Sunday, with films / chocolate/ whatever helps. You're allowed to wallow.

@amey44 it's tiring trying to stay positive all the time. Hope you're ok.

SureLook · 20/07/2025 15:08

@ChaE05 I'm starting to wonder is low progesterone my issue also. Or is just back luck?

@amey44 I've not used the cough syrup but when we used conceive plus lube in the month we got our BFP. I read the same as you, that it just doesn't kill the sperm. Obviously, it was a loss for me but at least we conceived.

@hollyhocks2 I've never understood those guidelines. Why wait for bleeding to start? It should be preventative. The EPU (in Ireland) told me they'll scan me and start me on progesterone straight away if I catch again.

NatalieSF · 20/07/2025 15:14

8dpo today been trying not to think about test day this TWW and did well up until today. I actually thought I was only 6dpo till I checked but now I know I'm 8 I'm impatient for testing lol no real symptoms although have been quite lethargic and my legs have been restless but no idea if it's related. Hoping to test at 10dpo but have a feeling I might cave tomorrow. 9dpo is my earliest bfp from previous pregnancies.

Sending baby dust to all

Nightshift110 · 20/07/2025 15:32

5+5 today , when should I expect a 3+, if I'm going to get one !

SureLook · 20/07/2025 15:39

@NatalieSF best of luck 🤞🏻

@Nightshift110 I would say probably around now. Were you tracking ovulation? Do you have a rough idea when you conceived? As you say though, you may not get one. I've seen lots of people on here never get one and have healthy pregnancies.
