I’m 6 dpo I’ve been getting mild cramps nausea bloating and dizziness, my boobs are also really sore. I’m not due on my period for another 11 days I’ve taken several tests but they are negative. just need a bit of advice on when I should test to get an accurate result? I feel like this happened to me on my last pregnancy but I could detect the symptoms way before I could take a test. thanks in advance everyone!

At 6dpo, you’re not pregnant.
At best, a fertilised egg has just arrived in your uterus so at best, you could get a positive HPT in 4 days.

In my experience 10dpo is the earliest I have gotten a positive using early detection tests on all 3 of my pregnancies. Even then, it was faint.

Attached pic of my 10, 11, 12, 13 and 14dpo tests for example. I would have loved to wait til 12dpo because I found 10 and 11dpo stressful as the tests were so light.

As the PP said you’re not really “pregnant” at that dpo. It takes 5 days until the fertilised embryo is able to start implanting. So at the earliest this happens at 6dpo but is often later. So any symptoms you have at that stage aren’t pregnancy related as your body doesn’t have any pregnancy hormones yet. It’s the hormones which cause the symptoms.
Let’s say for you it does implant at the earliest of 6dpo and your HCG at 6dpo is 1, it doubles every 48 hours (or so). Most tests need a minimum of 10miu to detect pregnancy. So if today at 6dpo it is 1, in 2 days it would be 2 in 4 days 4 in 6 days it’s 8 So if you take a test 6-7 days from now you may be able to get a positive test. Some people’s HCG levels can rise faster than that. Others it’s slower. But that’s rough idea if it. Most tests say you can only use them at the earliest 6 days before your period. In 6 days from now, you’ll be 5 days before you period. But even then it may not be positive if it doesn’t implant until 7-8dpo.

But to answer your question as to when to test to get an accurate result, really I would say earliest 12dpo. Most people get a positive by then. But definitely don’t test any earlier than 6 days from now.
