Just put of interest, those who have children/ pregnant already... How many dpo did you get symptoms and what were they ?

Bar a missed period, no symptoms until 6 weeks (so 2 weeks after missed period) when the sickness hit with a vengeance. Otherwise, just felt tired and bloated like I always do in the latter half of my cycle. Got a positive test around 11 dpo.

That's interesting.... It's so confusing in the tww as pms and pregnancy symptoms so similar I believe

Yeah I know it’s so variable. Some women have a moment where they just “knew” but I certainly didn’t and was shocked when I got a second line after many many months of negatives. I only checked because I was going to a dinner that I was planning on drinking at. Are you in your TWW? Feeling anything different?

Miraclemuma03 · 06/07/2025 04:32

Around 6 to 8 weeks then i usually get HG.

Yes in my tww . Feel extra tired but it's been very hot , also extra moody ( but may be cos I'm hot and tired !) Other than that nothing else . I'm in my 40s now so very much doubt il be pregnant, but we shall see what happens .

I think you’re right that in the TWW most symptoms are due to progesterone which is there whether you end up pregnant or not. Once hcg is present you get pregnant symptoms, but you’d also have a positive test.

no children here but when I did have a Bfp (ended in chemical at 5 weeks) I had sore breasts and was ravenous once I was testing positive

I’m 10DPO and really irritable today but I think it’s because I feel like I’m out this month and anticipating negatives!

When I was pregnant I didn’t have any symptoms. I tested because I had a drop of blood in my luteral phase so wondered if it could be implantation - which I think it was! I wasn’t tracking then as fell pregnant first cycle, but had a positive test about 3 days before period due. Apart from that little bit of spotting, no symptoms at all before BFP

now also 40 and trying for baby number 2 and in my TWW cycle 4! How long have you been trying? Best of luck with it!!

I’m 6 DPO and driving myself mental with “symptoms” that I’m fairly sure I’m imagining or are definitely to blame on other things 🤣
For example yesterday I was knackered, felt sick and had terrible heartburn, unsurprising as I spent the weekend in Dublin, drinking Guiness, not eating great and having late nights. I’m fairly certain I won’t be pregnant but would just like my period to come and put me out my misery.

I have been trying since end of Feb so not long . It took ages for my periods to return after the mini pill , so I'm only on cycle 2 really .
I really don't think I'm pregnant this month but I guess I'm not out till period arrives .

my first I went to the gym at 10dpo and just couldn't do my workout. My body had no energy and felt very weak. My second I had nothing until 14dpo when I missed my period and felt a little nauseous. I'm currently 6 weeks pregnant with my 3rd and at 9/10dpo I felt really off, a bit lightheaded and nauseous. I was on holiday a the time so tested once I was back home and it was positive
