Is this a positive test? Thin line..

Hi all,
period is due in approximately 4 days time, had sore breasts, vivid dreams and cramps so took a ClearBlue early detection test. This appeared after approx 8 mins after I tested. Is this a positive pregnancy test? Worried it may just be a false negative as the line is so think but it is clear, unbroken and blue… what do you think? x

It looks like an indent to me. Is the photo taken within the timeframe?

I wouldn’t trust it personally. It does look very thin so could be an evap. I’d get a 10miu sensitivity digital to check.

It's quite close the to 10min time limit that most tests have. Have you checked the expiration date, too?

I think you're best bet is to take another test and see what that says. Good luck!

It expires in 2027. I did another and it was the same line at 5 minutes. I will hold off a few more days and retest.

That look like a pesky indent to me, the lines too thin as you said.
You're still early though so you're still within a chance 😊

If it's the same brand, bought at the same time, I think it'll be a bad batch of tests.

I used these CB tests when pregnant with my first and the line was a lot thicker and blue, not thin and grey like these.

You can always buy a bunch of cheap strip tests from amazon - I did this when TTC baby 2 - and they were always very reliable. I bought ultra sensitive ones and got VERY early positive results.
