Ovulation symptoms question

Sorry if TMI (but I guess we're all closely acquainted with EWCM if we're on this board!)

Any experiences with EWCM/signs of ovulation twice in a cycle? Not sure what might have happened this month as it has never happened to me before. Had the usual EWCM and pains around ovulation. But experiencing EWCM and some of those pains again, 6 days after suspected ovulation. I've read this can happen with PCOS or if your body doesn't successfully ovulate. Can this just be a fluke does anyone know? Just curious to hear any insights or if this happens anyone else?

Background in case its relevant - Two pregnancies. First time took longer than average to conceive and ended in loss. Second time, very luckily, it was an average timeframe and I now have one DC. Usually ovulate CD 16 or 17 with a 31 day cycle.

Loosely starting TTC again. Did 2 months of OPKs to gauge ovulation. Both were indicating ovulation CD 16, which ties in with how I've always been. I found OPKs all consuming in the past so hoping not to do them all the time. Due to travel I chose not to do OPKs this month as wouldn't have been able to do them at the right time every day. So DTD every second day from CD 12 to 20. Now CD 22 and experiencing what I've said above. Might be nothing but just figured I'd see if anyone has similar experiences? I guess I should start DTD again in case its only happening now. Thank you for any input.

You can get EWCM mid luteal phase because of an oestrogen spike, I think this is the same cause as mid luteal temp drops (implantation dips, but they’re not necessarily to do with implantation, it’s because of oestrogen)

If anyone ever comes across this thread experiencing similar- have just had a positive pregnancy test! Cant believe it! Not 100% sure if my symptoms were actually because I had conceived, or a fluke, but just wanted to update. Cautiously hopeful🤞🏼🙏🏼❤️
