For the past 3 months I’ve had two bleeds a month. I don’t mean one at the start of the month and one at the end, I mean like 13 days after 1 period finishes. My period was supposed to come on Thursday. However it hasn’t. I have symptoms of ovulation and I tested and analysed them on the app and it seems my fertile window has just ended. How on earth am I supposed to track my cycle and try to conceive when this is happening? Can someone please help :(

With cycles that short 13days you donneed to speak to an OBGYN. In order to carry a pregnancy and ovulate etc your folicular pgase needs to be long enough to thicken the uterus lining and the LH phase needs to be long enough to build up progesterone. From what i remember a minimum. 21 day cycle it is possible to get pregnant. Hwve you had tests done

Have you been to your GP and had all the initial blood tests and ultrasounds done? That’s first step - 2 bleeds a month isn’t normal even when not trying to conceive.

Something like a Mira monitor might be useful in this situation - it’s really good at pinpointing ovulation and checking hormone levels to confirm ovulation actually happened.

Yeah I am going to see my doctor tomorrow to see what’s happening. Is this something that can be fixed or is there a chance I will be unable to get pregnant?

I think if there’s something going on with hormones messing up a normal cycle, they should hopefully be able to get you on track. I’ve no experience myself, but I’ve seen lots of ladies talk about the medications they take to get them to ovulate and have a good length luteal phase. I think you should be hopeful at this stage and fingers crossed your tests come back with something simple to fix 🤞🏻
