It's very normal to get a positive ovulation test two days in a row. It's likely the "peak" oh lh was somewhere between the two as it will climb and then come down, rather than just be on or off.

Implantation happens about a week after ovulation so if you only ovulated yesterday (or today) you wouldn't be pregnant yet.

You are likely only just ovulating now if that’s your first peak this cycle. Sometimes you can ovulate later than you expect. Do you know how long your luteal phase is normally? Some people do ovulate only 9-10 days before their period. The standard is 14 but like I say it can be less. If you normally have a 14 day luteal phase it may be that your period is then “late” this month because you ovulated late.

HCG and LH are similar, but an ovulation test will not be able to detect HCG better than a pregnancy test. If that was the case people wouldn’t waste money on pregnancy tests they’d just use ovulation tests.

At 9 days before your period you are either only just ovulating now, or only ovulated very recently so even if you do conceive this cycle, you won’t have any HCG hormones for at least another few days. So it’s probably best to wait at least 10-12 days before taking another pregnancy test.
