Had a chemical pregnancy on my last cycle which I found devastating but tested pregnant again on Monday - 13dpo/14dpo. Had a clear blue 1-3 weeks and a very faint line. Have been so anxious this time so ordered some tests and they arrived this evening and I decided to do one - I know I shouldn’t have! I know I’d been drinking lots as it’s hot etc but the line was so faint for 17dpo/18dpo and only slightly darker than the one on Monday. Do you think it’s going to be another chemical? I can’t bare the thought of it happening again but I’m not holding out much hope…

It is SO hard to say as if you have been drinking lots your urine could have been very diluted and therefore not having much HCG in, but also you would expect to see progression over 4 days.
i think the only way will be trying again in the morning. I so hope for you that it’s just due to you having had lots of water etc throughout the day x keep updated tomorrow x

Not much brighter on this test and it was my first wee in the morning. I really think I might end up losing the pregnancy

Mine have been really similar at that time!! I am currently 6 weeks and I have only in the past week had strong tests. I have an NHS early reassurance scan on Monday as I have previous losses so hopefully everything is ok.
im starting to wonder if I just ovulated late and that’s why my tests weren’t as dark at the beginning - I didn’t get a proper dark one until about 20dpo based on my period. But I can’t say it’s worked out ok as I haven’t had my early scan yet x

Fingers crossed for you in the scan! Pregnancy after loss is so tough. Thank you for the reassurance, hopefully mine will get a bit darker soon xx

brought a different brand of tests and did one in the middle of the day and got a much clearer line! Not sure if I’m out of the woods as it’s a little light from 18/19dpo but much more hopeful now
