DH has SERIOUSLY asked for another baby

Thats it - i dont know! I'm broody as hell and would love two close together, but is dealing with 2 under 2 really a good plan???

How many children do you have and what ages? Is it completely out of the blue?

How do you feel?

You can't just say that your husband wants another baby, what do you do? and expect us to say yes or no. We need more info.

Ive only got jessica who is 6 months old... have read the other thread today - makes interesting reading.... just not sure if i would miss out too much on all of jessica's "firsts" by being preoccupied with pregnancy and another newborn.

a friend of mine is due no 5 anyday adn number 1 is only 4 years and 3 months- no twins just tiny age gaps and they all seem happy enough

I do want another baby, but im a worrier.

so really, if i want it, there isnt any real bad reason not to go for it?

I conccived No2 when dd1 was only 6 months old. I love having them this close together, they play really well (although they fight too). It was really hard work at first, but pays dividends in the long run.

I recommend getting help in if you can afford it though!

I conceived no 2 when no 1 was 8 mths old. Always been very happy with age gap. It is hard at 1st tho. I don't really like all thisstuff about missing out on having time alone with 1st born/missing the 1sts etc, cos when you have 2/3/4 you never have time alone with these subsequent kids, yet they're no less important. iyswim

If yuo're broody then why not? If you're a worrier, you'll worry no matter when you do it. Might as well get it over & done with. Of course you might not conceive for a while anyway

Monkey - I also conceived my no 2 (dd) when ds was 8 months old and have never regretted the age gap. Jessicasmummy - you need to figure it all out in your own mind as to what you want. But I think having your kids close together is lovely. Its hard work for the first year but fun. I am now expecting no 3 with a 19 month gap between dd and no 3 so will have 3 under 3 yrs 1 month!
