Hi, newbie here !
Although old hag it feels when ttc!!
I am 31, and after 2 years, and countless blood tests, and a laparoscopy, I have finally been prescribed clomid. Although I am excited to take it , I really don't want to expect too much .. and ultimatley be disappointed ( just like every month), it has taken soooooo long to get here. Anyway, just wanted to say hi, and if anyone has any words of wisdom, would be greatly appreciated !!
There are just so many threads, and I don't really know where I belong !!
Thanks x

Firstly welcome to MN butterbiscuit

Come over and join us on the "been ttc#1 forever" thread here you'll find lots of people like us there and lots of support. (I have been ttc for 2 1/2 yrs and have tried clomid which made me ov but I didn't get pg, so it sort of worked!) There's also a "taking clomid for the first time" thread here which I found helpful for asking specific questions about the clomid. Otherwise there's the "No1 babies detective agency" thread here where we're all (well mostly) ttc our first babies although there's a fair bit of crossover between that and the forever thread! Don't worry about reading the whole thread, just come and introduce yourself and feel free to ask about anything that's new to you (especially the abbreviations!) I'm not on the clomid one but will see you on either of the others
