Implantation bleeding?

For background information I have short cycles (23/24 days on ave). Ovulated on the 6th, was due my period on the 15th and got my first very faint positive on the 16th and have tested positive every day since.

On Wednesday night I had some spotting, brown and light. That's continued through to today though gotten lighter in colour and volume - now light brown and still light spotting. More like discharge with a tiny bit of blood? Still testing positive though its now 3 days since it started.

My app says I'm 4 weeks pregnant, and online says implantation bleeding can occur between 10 - 14 days after ovulation but I'm looking for reassurance. Has anyone had this and its turned out OK?

I spotted for like 4 weeks during my 1st trimester which was hell as I’d previously had a miscarriage so was pretty anxious. Mine started as being red and quickly turned brown. MW said that was a good sign as red/pink discharge is fresh blood while brown is old blood. Yours goes between the two so not sure what that means. You could call EPU but as you are so early I am not sure they will scan you. They will probably tell you to wait and see what happens.

Also just FYI I had to have a D&C for the miscarriage and I tested positive for 2 and a bit weeks after that.

24 years ago I had this and thought I was not pregnant so popped a tampon in.
Went to change it after 2 hours and thought that's weird just a few brown specs.
Waited for 2 days for my period to start properly and nothing happened.
Did a test and bingo (now 23 year old DC).
If its brown thats a good sign. Good luck x

Thank you @Pipparoo2025 Im sure they won't scan me yet. I think I just need to sit tight, though I got some digital tests in the hope that since last week it said 1-2 weeks pregnant, if next week it progresses to 2-3 that's possibly a sign of still rising HCG.

I need to stop testing every day, its reassuring me but not enough that I'm actually reassured. I'll drive myself crazy.

That's exactly the kind of story I hoped to hear @SoSoOuting

If you can stop testing every day I would as you will drive yourself mad. But that’s easier said than done. Could you get your GP to do a blood test and you can see if your HCG level is where is should be?

I called last week and they said just to wait til 6 weeks and refer. Its just taken me so long to conceive, and I have had issues with my cervix and hormones so this positive is already a long shot.

I think I'll call on Monday, explain and see if they'll agree to a blood test.

I'm glad it was helpful so here's some more advice.
24 years ago ( and even 20) we took a test and if it was positive then we were pregnant and we waited until:

  1. we had a bleed and were 6 weeks+ and went to the EPU
  2. we were 12 weeks+ and had our scan
This testing early/re-testing/comparing tests adds to the stress. So step away from the tests and if you need any support then tag me. I do understand as I lost a pregnancy (much wanted) between DC1 and DC2 and spent the first 12 weeks stressed with DC2. The pregnancy I lost - sorry if TMI but tbh - was a disaster from start to sad finish. I was beyond exhausted, gushes of bright red blood, feeling so sick all the time and just so off compared to DC1. Do ask for the blood test if it will reassure you but then if all well breathe and repeat

Thank you so much @SoSoOuting . I hear you about the early testing, the early tests just give you longer to stress!
I think I'll take the advice here and step away from testing, phone for a blood test and try to just enjoy the possibility this is happening until told otherwise.

Thank you both for kind advice on a Saturday night
