Spotting mid cycle but not ovulation

Hi all,
been monitoring my cycles ready to TTC next month. I regularly ovulated CD19/20 and my cycles are 32-33 days long. I’m currently CD12 and have had bloody stretchy mucus which I thought could be a sign of early ovulation but I have been testing since CD10 and not even a hint of a line on ovulation tests. Also had slight cramping earlier today. Anyone any idea why this is happening?

I found for me, the spotting in between cycles was low progesterone. Last month I actually bled for a couple of days around fertile window and had to have my cycle cancelled. If the spotting continues each cycle I would probably get a test done for progesterone just to rule that out as low progesterone can cos spotting between cycles

Ok thank you, I did think it sounds like a hormone imbalance. I’ve not had it before and this is only my third cycle since coming off the coil so I’ll give it another cycle or so before I do anything about it. In any case it’s stopped now. Thanks
