Any impatient early testers want to join me this TWW?

My impatience always gets the better of me during the TWW and I end up testing early on from about 7dpo, but I have had 2 early positives around now in previous pregnancies so that’s some validation 😅

I’m 8dpo today and this is my most recent test. Not seeing anything concrete, maybe the faintest of lines, but who knows with these tests 🤷🏼‍♀️ had a blood test yesterday to check my progesterone, it was 49.7 nmol/L which is a good result I think!

Anyone else want to join and share their test pictures during the TWW? Whether it’s needing line eyes, support, or sharing your BFP, no judgment here 😊

@JupiterDaze I tried, but I didn’t get a positive LH test at any point. Earlier in the week I thought I was still waiting for my peak around when I normally OV, and then my apps suddenly had the opinion I was 4dpo. So who knows lol.

@JupiterDaze how exciting that’s deffo a good line!!! I took a clear blue again, I got a pink line test to do tomorrow and it’s definitely getting darker

@EmPeEf have you still been LH testing since then? Maybe you haven’t had your true peak yet, I’ve had cycles before where I thought I had ovulated but then ended up getting a second LH surge and that was my real ovulation

Yeah I unfortunately think this is a chemical pregnancy. I’m having complete negatives today. I know I said I wouldn’t test anymore but I can’t help myself. Every test BFN. 3rd chemical now 😔

Your positives were vvvvvfaint though, with your last one only being yesterday. I don’t think you need to count it as a chemical until you have bleeding.

@EmPeEf I get what you’re saying, but the line on the FRER I took yesterday was clear as day, I didn’t need to hold it up, angle it or squint to see it, it’s just that the picture made it look much fainter than it actually was. And I have a gut feeling that it’s going to end in a chemical. My gut has always been right. I know it’s early days still but it’s looking the same as my previous chemicals. I guess I just have to wait and see 🤷🏼‍♀️

I understand. I’ve only had one chemical and it was devastating. I can understanding guarding against hope for sure. Really hope it’s good news for you.

The first image is today’s, 12dpo. There doesn’t seem to be any line progression really 😕 if I had the willpower I’d stop testing but I just can’t. Also getting some strong cramps today 😭

My GP has arranged for me to have blood tests to check my hcg levels, so that’ll give a definitive answer. Having the first one today. Wish me luck 🤞🏼

@JupiterDaze how did you get on yesterday with your blood test?

@BB3Hopefully thanks for asking, it confirmed very low hcg (8) and then spotting last night and today so it’s a chemical. Shame as I got this last night as well, still faint but clear, then BFN today.

How are you doing? What dpo are you today?

Gosh that picture quality is awful 🤦🏼‍♀️ in the test was a nice thick blue line 😅

@JupiterDaze I’m really sorry to hear that. Do you feel any better knowing for sure from the blood test rather than trying to read into line progression?

@EmPeEf yeah absolutely, the constant testing obviously didn’t help. But now I have a definite answer I can relax a bit and let my body do what it needs to do.

Yeah. Think I had a false positive due to dye issues on a cheap strip, and then an instant indent on one of those Boots tests which was shocking. Never using those again. Then this today on FR but I think it’s negative. I can’t trust my line eyes lol.

@JupiterDaze awh I’m sorry. I hope you’re ok. That’s really horrible. I hope youre getting some solace in knowing for sure because the constant questioning would be so hard.

Im 9DPO today and had positives today and yesterday on cheapies and the boots early tests which really surprised me.

@EmPeEf i think I can see a line on that FR, fingers crossed for you.

@EmPeEf I don’t trust the FR anymore, you can only get them from Amazon and the ones I got already had visible lines before the tests were even taken! Seems all the pregnancy tests are bad for evaps/indents recently.. But I can see a very faint line on yours! I hope it’s a positive and progresses 🤞🏼

@JupiterDaze its an absolute minefield isn’t it! They used to be the ones you could rely on. Take a look at the Boots first response copy I took. As I watched it develop I got excited I could see a line, but it was only after I looked at the photo I could see it was white!!

I don’t know what tests to use any more. I have cheap One Step from eBay but when I got my positive digital 1-2 weeks last month there was barely a line on the cheap one.

I guess the answer is to stop testing and wait for the missed period, but it’s so much easier said than done. I’m autistic and like to know what’s going on and have rigid ideas about things. I need to become more nonchalant 😅😅

@EmPeEf im using those cheap one steps too and I’m finding them very faint! I tested positive on a 25 miu boots cheapie today and the line on that was darker than that 10miu one step I took at the same time. It would drive you demented!
will you be testing again today? Your boots one does looks strangely white, very odd!

@JupiterDaze I will test progression, unfortunately I won’t be able to stop myself but I’m trying not to obsess too much.

Yeah, from a bit of research that instant white line on the Boots is a common indent/false positive.

I’ve ordered some Wondfo strips from Amazon and they’ll be here tomorrow. I have a First Response but I don’t know when to test. Obviously the later the better but I’m an addict lol. My sleep schedule is weird; I basically sleep during the time my kids are at school lol. So after the school run today will be 24 hours since I did the last one so maybe then. And if it’s just stark white then I’ll know to discount what I thought I saw on the previous.

How is everyone doing? Anyone have any updates or tests to share?

I’ve just stopped bleeding today, was quite a long one and very heavy. Also found out a few days ago I am borderline anaemic so I’ve started iron supplements. Hoping this will help with implantation for if I become pregnant again 🤞🏼 I feel the low iron contributed to me having a chemical.
