@Muddysocks1sending you all my fingers crossed for this cycle.

ChaE05 · 07/07/2025 08:12

@Muddysocks1sending you a great big hug... I feel the same as you. In my line of work I was placed in another department when I was pregnant, with lots of other pregnant women! Which was lovely to have the support and we made such good friends. However 1 has already had her second baby and 3 others are pregnant...all first time trying! I have completely distanced myself. We have a WhatsApp group that is muted but I even feel like leaving it. Like you, I feel like a terrible friend but it's so triggering. We have to look after ourselves and if they don't understand that, then they aren't very good friends anyway. I know our time will come...the hardest part is not knowing when. 🫶 just know you're doing everything you, apart from probably not being stressed! Which is a hard thing to do given the circumstances. I know that's something I need to work on x

hollyhocks2 · 07/07/2025 08:26

Congrats @Nightshift110 and @Papill19 such lovely news!!

@CoolLimeSheep you've been trying for 8 years?? You must have really really wanted that baby 💔 I am in awe of you really. What incredible strength and dedication and resilience and persistence. But I'm sure it has cost you too. Are you definitely done?

LuckyDuck93 · 07/07/2025 08:35

@Taysonic so so sorry, you must be so drained by it all ❤

@Muddysocks1 I know what you mean, sometimes it feels like literally every other person around me is getting pregnant..and doing it very easily!

CD3 for me today, trying not to stress myself out this month, going to try the cough syrup for CM & just continue on with my vitamins, I dont want to try any new ones this month as i've got CD21 & CD4 bloods so don't want anything to change how they look! Hopefully they might shed some light on the random bleed I had at CD21 this month.

Hope you ladies are all doing ok, is anyone else onto their next cycle yet? As disappointed as i've been this month, i'm certainly glad to have the company!

Hi guys,

Just hopping on this thread, I hope that's okay? I haven't really posted on here before but I'm just looking for some reassurance/a reality check!

I have had a very faint but pink line in a FRER at 10dpo in the afternoon and it looked the same this morning (11dpo). I would upload a picture but it doesn't look very clear once it's uploaded onto mumsnet but I can see it. Has anybody else been in the same boat? For context 34 years old, ttc first child on cycle 4

x

sounds normal! would love to see it if you can? hcg doubles every 48 hours so you should see a little darker tomorrow x

Taysonic · 06/07/2025 16:38

Hi all.

Quick and brief update from me: miscarriage confirmed with the results of today's bloods. They will retest in a week just for... Completeness?

Referred for some recurrent loss bloods to investigate if there are any obvious underlying issues they can help with in the first instance.

Going to take a break from TTC for a while I think... Two MC in four months is quite enough for me.

Hey @Taysonic I'm so sorry 😔 I've been off the threads for a while since chemical and just came on to see how you're doing and I'm absolutely gutted to see this. Sending you a huge heartfelt hug to you and your OH. I really hope you're as ok as you can be right now, and I hope this may lead to some further answers for you. I can totally understand you'd want to take as much time as you need before you're ready to try again ❤️

Nightshift110 · 07/07/2025 09:53

Hi, I did a clear blue this morning that was a definite positive. Just done a cheaper test I had In the cupboard, and it's so faint.
I'm still about 2 days off period .
Do you think it's just because it's a cheap test it's so faint ?
Worrying myself now !

I am in this same boat - faint positive on frer and absolute negative on the superdrug tests! I think that some of them have different thresholds of HCG. So you need less HCG to get a positive on CB and FRER and then higher for some of the others. I am not an expert though - there's some really insightful people on here!

Ec2808 · 07/07/2025 10:08

@GreenApple121 @boredinmy30s how you both feeling today? starting to feel a bit lonely on here not many of us around the same point of cycle...🙁

Mushroo · 07/07/2025 10:16

Wow lots to catch up on! Huge congrats to all the BFPs!

Im 9dpo today and nearly tested this morning, but going to wait a couple more days. The wait is killing me, especially as DH had a lovely glass of red with his roast yesterday 🙄

ForGiddyDreamer · 07/07/2025 10:20

Congrats to all the BFP this morning! So many come flooding in it at once!

I am 9/10 dpo today. I think my positive yesterday was an evap, given the FRER had zilch. But what an evap, eh? I think that's me done with CB tests now. The evaps are just too real looking. CB ultra early has a sensitivity of 10 and FRER 5, so the latter should have showed something. I haven't tested again this morning. Have one FRER and will use it tomorrow. I don't feel at all how I felt when I was pregnant in February.

Fingers crossed to all testing this week xx

Ttc34no1 · 07/07/2025 10:23

@ForGiddyDreamer the CB evaps are absolutely brutal and the false hope is horrible as well. I personally prefer pink dye, I think you’re less likely to get an evap.

Fingers crossed for you for your frer tomorrow! X

ForGiddyDreamer · 07/07/2025 10:25

Just to let you all see. Part of my now campaign to end CB 😂 both taken yesterday, CB about 11ish and FRER around 5ish. The CB is a bright blue in person.

ForGiddyDreamer · 07/07/2025 10:26

Thanks @Ttc34no1 Had a moment of hope yesterday that was quickly dashed!

Ttc34no1 · 07/07/2025 10:27

@ForGiddyDreamer i’ve just seen your pictures as well and it looks like the evap I had. Hope you’re okay and staying positive! Keep us posted for this week! I’m really glad I’ve joined this thread, wish I’d done it a lot sooner. X

overwork · 07/07/2025 10:35

@MushrooI’m same no. days as you, don’t plan on testing until later in the week ideally. I’m not sure I could deal with the dashed hopes I’ve been seeing here. I absolutely had my wine with my dinner this weekend though, will obviously stop the second I know I need to!

You too! It’s so hard. I’ve got one close friend and I feel I need to be honest with her and just explain why I’m feeling distant but I equally don’t want to make her feel bad. Very tricky. Luckily at work we’re mostly WFH so manage to avoid many pregnant colleagues but I do need a bit of a kick in the gut when a pregnancy is announced.
WFH is handy though as it’s easier to go to appts and I hope when I finally get pregnant to be able to process it in my own time without needing to tell others too soon?

Possibly - ideally you should only compare the same brands and they say 2 days apart. Hcg fluctuates a lot in the early stages, variables like hydration, and with 48hr doubling, I think more regular comparison can make you worry about progress when it’s probably fine!

(obv I take multiple tests through the day but that’s the advice move that I’ve seen and makes sense! Definitely just using same brand)

sarahspeaking · 07/07/2025 10:53

Hi everyone,

First time TTC and not enjoying this TWW!

I'm 8DPO and have had some pinky discharge the last couple of days - trying not to get too excited that it's implantation as might just be AF coming early!

Is Friday too early to test? Trying to hold out until then!

I know, I regret not having any! I’ve spent the last week or so having sushi, soft cheese and rare steak just in case 😂

I’m going to try and hold off too, last time I was pregnant my line was so faint at 12dpo I don’t think it would have come up any earlier

overwork · 07/07/2025 11:16

Hi @sarahspeakingBroadly speaking you’re similar days PO to me, @Mushroo@ForGiddyDreamerand I think a few others! No idea on how early you can test but I’m sure others do. I wasn’t trying last time I was pregnant and didn’t test until about 5.5 weeks as I didn’t realise. This is my first time trying again and I was going to try and hold off until if / when I’m late this time but we’ll see how inpatient I get!
