THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH EVEN IF YOU DIDNT KNOW IT

Been vaguely TTC DC2 for a few months and was lurking and absorbing TTC info. As 39 went for it wholeheartedly this month- OPK (access diagnostics), Clearblue fertility monitor, Temping (fertility friend) O'd on day 20 of a possible 33 day cycle which wouldnt have known( irregular periods since reduced breastfeeding 4 months ago(DS now 1)

Result- faint but def positive HPT at 9 DPO with First response. Tested as going on a hen weekend in Barcelona this afternoon and hoped to know one way or another before drinking my body weight in sangria!

So will have to be the responsible adult over the weekend.....

PS Know things mught not work out and may be back lurking as vvvv early days but so excited I had to say a big thank you and cant tell anyone apart from DH.

PPS? Know am lucky enough to have DC already and some of the FTC stories on this have made me cry. Not intending this to be smug pregnancy announcement wishing everyone TTC all the best of luck.

That seems really early to get a pos result, im cd 23 today of a 30/35 day cycle, and dont know when to test. Have a good weekend.

Do I remember you from this thread a while ago? Were you TTC whilst still breast feeding? If this is you I might have some questions!

OOh - just reread your post and it def is you. So hw did you do it? I need tips! I am still BF DD (nearly 11 months). She has 2 feeds a day (morn and eve) and sleeps through - but no sign of period yet. When did yours return.
And I have also been wondering - how do you know when to do a pregnancy test? I am doing them randomly all the time. Bit annoying though!

I know it was early to test but the FR test said test up to 6 days early so thought would take a chance as going away. Tried the access diag 10 ones and there is possibly something but really nothing to rely on. Maybe miscalculated and O'vd earlier but all the signs pointed to the 14th May inc FFfriend.

PS Ebeson I am a POAS addict actually tested last 2 days with internet cheapies completely stupid I know....

I am the wrong person to ask! would say give it a go if you are prepared for a negative and have money to spare bying HPT's. Much much better to wait but I wanted to see if there was any chance of a +ve so could avoid alcohol this weekend. This is my first holiday in a year and a half so really wanted to have a few drinks unless pg.

I think fertility friend says to wait until at least 18 days after ovulating if you have an irregular cycle and know when you ovulated.

blame it on the boobie- are you around- is difficult to find advice about TTC when breastfeeding- happy to share any info.
