Period due - very very light period?

Hi
Has anyone experienced anything similar?

I came off the pill at Easter and had one normal period since. Since then, on CD28 I had period type pains and have had some spotting. It's definitely not like a 'normal' period - too light to need anything other than a really thin liner. It's continued for around 4 days and is quite bright red/ pink. But is it still a period? I don't know whether I'm on CD 30+ or whether I should count the spotting as CD1.

Can anyone please offer me any advice?
Thanks in advance.

Sorry, I'm not sure, but I do know that when people come off the pill it can take a few months for their periods to settle down. Maybe you should go and see your doctor or nurse practitioner?

Good luck. xx

This might not help but...when I first got pregnant with DD, I had this light period, like you describe. Hence why I didnt know I was pregnant for about 10weeeks! (I was on the pill so didnt expect to be pregnant anyway!!)

It could just be your body settling down after the whole pill thing though.
