No baby, we've never used herbs, but I am going to start my dh on saw palmetto from Holland and Barratt, next week.

didn't try herbs/natural remedies - have to be careful with this as they're not always safe....

along the same lines (sort of) I had acupuncture to try and regulate my cycle and help fertility, after well over a year of ttc, just 4 months of acupuncture and hurrah up the duff. Of course it could be coincidence or a psychological effect but in my book it doesn't really matter as the result's the same!

I saw an acupuncturist who specialises in this (London/Windsor) he's lovely. I run fitness classes for mums, babies, pregnant ladies etc and it is surprising how many of them fess up to having seen him when ttc.

ps not related to him or any such nonsense, it's a genuine recommendation!

hi, I am ttc and this is the first month I have been taking agnus castus. A few MNetters have expressed concern that it may mask underlying hormonal issues so could actually make things worse, however, I have done plenty of research and I decided to give it a try. I will let you know on wednesday if it has worked!

Hi there, I was shown this article recently. It may help:

"A variety of female hormonal problems can potentially be aided by the remedy Hormonal Balance (£22 for 2 months supply from Archturus), but a spagyric formula called Regulator (same as above), is more suitable for those who suffer from PCOS. Spagyric essences are safe and gentle plant-based essences. A key component in this combination is the hormonal regulator wild yam. It possesses both oestrogen and progesterone-like properties, and restores hormonal balance, which can be negatively affected by the xenoestrogens (man-made compounds derived from solvents, pesticides, plastics and chemicals) that we come across in modern life."

Good luck

baby drip - you are welcome! There is much discussion about every night or every other night in my experience! Personally we have been going for every night during the middle of the cycle, but I know lots of people who have found the every other night to work! I think that as long as DH has no sperm issues then every day is fine.

You are welcome to come and join our ttc thread if you like. We are a very friendly bunch, about 12 of us, and no such thing as "too much information!" here
