TTC just after MC

Hello,

I'm currently going through a MC. Starting to bleed badly yesterday and continuing. Not confirmed 100% as I have to wait for the HCG level to go down before taking a test.

We're keen on starting TTC as soon as possible time is against us

How would you go from there? Start ovulation tests as soon as I stop to bleed? Wait for 1 cycle?

Any tip?

No pity party please, but positive stories welcome

I would honestly wait, see your doctor and possibly get some counselling before TTC again. You’ve just lost a baby.

You'll be told by medical professionals to wait for a period. I have been on your position and know how excruciatingly difficult that can be to hear when you want to start trying again.

Personally I tried straight away after both my miscarriages - using ovulation tests. Had a successful pregnancy following my second MC. By not having a period it just makes it difficult for them to date the pregnancy before a 12 week scan - that's my experience/understanding.

Have a look at baby aspirin and do some research on it as anecdotally can help and again, did so in my experience.

Take care x
