13 dpo thoughts pls

Hi all,

13 dpi, bfn in IC at 11dpo. No hpt in house but out of interest did an opk which is pretty strong. Could that mean anything f despite bfn a couple of days ago. I should add that always have pre af spotting and due tomorrow and not a spot at all.

Just be warned when using this method that the hormone that gets the line spikes right before our periods. It’s caught me a few times when I have tried to do this. But good luck, wishing you all the best xx

Thanks, yeah I’m not holding onto that too much especially as it is lighter in the morning g than in the pm just like my normal levels. Surely if it was picking up hcg it would be consistent?! However I am due today with no sign and no normal spotting either so will see how it goes!

Is there a chance of a bfp without a positive opk?

@Peachesthecat do you mean when you tested to check ovulation?
of so yes, 100%. Lots of people miss their peak entirely as it’s so so quick. You can have a low one day and then the peak the next. Depends how you are testing as well. The expensive systems are a lot more accurate but if it’s just from cheap test strips it’s so easy to miss. You are not out until you are out so they say. Wishing you all the luck!!

Thank you for your reply! I got a positive when I ovulated, I just mean now I’m due af would the opk deffo show positive? Or could it be negative and I’m still pregnant? I’m getting a mix depending on g on time of day xxz

It could be either, it may show positive if you are pregnant but that’s a very strong positive for so early on. Mine also read like this a day or too before af. Sorry, clearly as mud! Xxx

When I was pregnant with a healthy baby, my hcg was in the multiples of thousands and I never ever got a strong OPK. I was curious at the time as I’d heard of some girls getting that, but I never did.
