Hi, so just looking for any advice really. I got a peak on the 5th of may. V v v faint positive around the 15th / 16th. Went for my scan with the epu today at what I thought was 6+5 to not be able to see anything just an empty sack. I’ve had bloods done and have to go back for repeated bloods and re scan on Monday. I’ve cried the whole way home! I had a miscarriage in October and this is our rainbow and now I’m just absolutely terrified something is wrong. I’ll attach a photo of what’s been written and if anybody can offer any insight or advice or similar stories I’d be so grateful. Thank you xx

I had a similar early scan with my daughter and same as you had empty sac. She’s now nearly 8 :) it was hard waiting and the pregnancy was up and down but she was delivered safe and well at 37 weeks. Hope it’s a happy outcome for you too xx

I had that too at around the same gestation and unfortunately it turned out the foetus hadn't formed properly and after being rescanned a week later I was given the choice to miscarry naturally, D&C or medical management. I got pregnant again 6 months later and now have the most wonderful little girl who's so amazing and wouldn't be here if this hadn't happened.

I'm so sorry as likely this will be your outcome if your dates are definitely right and you should be nearly 7 weeks. If there's a chance your dates are wrong by a week then it could be that everything is fine, but if your dates are right I'm so sorry. Sending hugs xx

I definitely got a smiley face peak on the 5th of may. But can’t it take longer sometimes to implant? I had pink tinged cm when I wiped on the 6th and got very strong ovulation pains like never before on the 5th. Xx

Not great my hcg only rose by 49% so they’ve said it’s not good news and it’s v v likely I’m having a miscarriage. Got another scan Friday. Most confusing part is I still feel pregnant and morning sickness started this morning so that’s just fantastic. If I’m not pregnant I just wish my body would realise as it’s just torture xx

At 10 weeks it isn’t uncommon for pregnancy symptoms to go a bit. For most this is a relief from nausea but it can be worrying with your history. Speak to your midwife and see if she can do a reassurance scan.
