36 year old, trying for 6 cycles, all tests have come back good for me & DP sperm… regular periods, ovulate every month & get 4/5 days of lots of ewcm followed by ovulation pain & a temp rise….
Egg reserve on the lowest side of normal for my age, chemical pregnancy last August when we weren’t trying.
shorter cycles of 23-26 days & ovulate day 9-12.
Why is it taking so long?
Feeling so confused!
Looking for positive stories of 35+ ladies that took over the 6 month mark but did get their BFP!
Thank you
x

I got my bfp after 14 months with DD. We were told we would never conceive naturally. She was born on my 38th birthday.
We've been trying again for 2 years but no luck this time. DH has low sperm count and age is against me now so not really expecting to conceive again.

@fairgame84 Amazing that you managed to conceive a healthy baby naturally that’s fab. Gives me hope. I was 36 in April so time isn’t on my side really. I’d like more than one baby, so was hoping it wouldnt take too long as we have no known fertility issues based on the tests we’ve had done. Praying for a miracle right now. If you’ve done it once then you can do it again, keep going, you never know x

I had an ivf baby at 36 after 7 years of infertility.

At 38 and then 40 I had another two, naturally concieved babies 😊
It does happen. Take heart.

It’s such a rollercoaster every month when everything seems to line up, but no BFP yet. I’m 37 and it took us 9 months to conceive our first. All tests were normal, and cycles looked good, so it was really frustrating not understanding why it wasn’t happening. Sometimes it just takes longer than we expect, even when things look “perfect” on paper.
