I can't quite believe it but after a while year we only went and filled the last thread.

I'll tag you all below so that you can find me!

One day at a time is where I am too.

I’ve had nausea on and off all week, terrible insomnia excess saliva (that’s fun!) and brain fog. Although it’s been rough I’m so so greatful as pregnancy signs are reassuring and it does help with my anxiety which has been OK, apart from today.

I also tested and my line progression is very strong.

I’ve also had to come off my adhd medication so I think it’s just been a lot for my body to take in.

I’ve suddenly become paranoid about nutrition and gestational diabetes as my BMI puts me as obese (I’m a size 12-14!) but I think it’s just unplaced anxiety.

I think given what we’ve all been through so far staying not attached to the outcome and trusting the process is a good place to be ❤️

That definitely sounds like displaced anxiety to me...whenever I am stressed it always latches onto something. If it wasn't weight it would simply be something else, so try not to let it become too real a worry. I always think just because we worry about something it doesn't mean it worth worrying about.

@MocktailMe your colleague has a really good point there, it's throwing you in the deep end all at once! It's good you're looking at it factually, it'll help you process it in each stage and hopefully take it one day at a time.

@CharLdn those signs are so reassuring! Sorry your anxiety's spiked, like you said your body's going through a lot especially with coming off adhd medication. As for nutrition, listen to your body and do what it's telling you to do. It's difficult anyway in the first trimester with nausea and food aversions, you can set out to be eating the healthiest balanced diet but if your body is saying a bag of cookies is the only thing it'll accept, eat those cookies and don't feel bad for it

@MocktailMe how are you getting on with your meds?

Hey, so all good news here I'm on stims day two!

I had a scan and it showed I was fully down regulated so was able to move to stims as planned. I've got another scan next week and if all goes well I could be having my egg retrival as early as the 13th December. Which seems mental.

By the end of the down regulation i was feeling absolutely terrible, but after even one injection of stims I had a better night's sleep than in two weeks as it's helped the hot flashes and night sweats ease off. Just hoping and hoping my eggs are growing nicely and evenly and will get a good haul!

How are you getting on, when is your scan?

Big news from me and there were days I never thought I’d get to make this announcement but my baby safely entered the world on 8th December😭 I can’t quite believe that this is my life right now tbh. The overwhelming love is crazy.

I'm off for my scan today to see how my eggs are all growing. I'm hoping for good news as gets me one step closer.

oh @KT199 the biggest congratulations I am so so happy to wake up to this news ❤️ the 8th of December is my birthday! It’s a great day to have a birthday. Hope you and baby are doing well!

Things are going well with me I am almost 21 weeks so it feels like things are flying along now! My anatomy scan is next week so I’ll be relieved to have that all done and hopefully looking good!

Best of luck with your scan today @MocktailMe, hopefully it won’t be too much longer until your egg retrieval! Will you be doing a fresh or frozen transfer?

Our little one is doing well, 14 weeks now it has gone so quick. He is very active 😂 nights are getting easier as he is sleeping slightly longer now. I am still EBF so he literally comes everywhere with me, velcro baby indeed lol

@KT199 Huge congratulations on the safe arrival of your bundle of joy!! Enjoy every moment, these early days and weeks pass so quickly, they grow so fast!
@KTB34 Wow, 14 weeks already, I bet you are getting more sleep now and the "witching hour" is the thing of the past?!

My son is 7 weeks now, I breastfeed 99% of the time now, but occasionally we do top up with formula which my partner gives when I desperately need sleep and the little man is still going crazy past midnight and seems hungry despite just having spent hours on the boob!

@Waitingformiracle hope the anatomy scan goes well. It was reassuring for us to get to that milestone!
Are you enjoying your second trimester and travelling while you can or keeping it simple at home?!

@MocktailMe How did your scan go? Hope it showed a nice egg growth! So excited for you!

@CharLdn how is your pregnancy progressing? Have you had more scans? How are you feeling ? Are you skipping the skiing this season? I surely am, but for a good reason at least! ☺️ Last winter I still went when I was just 4 weeks pregnant but I took it very easy as I was cautious of any falls that would require X-rays etc.

I've got 17 follicles growing as of my scan this morning, just praying one of these will be my baby!!

Not enough are quite ready for egg collection yet, been told to continue taking stims today and tomorrow (days 8 & 9) and then will scan again and see.

I am pleased to at least know the drugs are doing their thing!

@Waitingformiracle I know what a huge milestone this will be for you ♥️ please let us know how the scan goes

I’m OK had a 6 week 5 days scan and got heartbeat confirmed and everything’s tracking as it should be so far. I’m now 7.5 weeks. I’ve been absolutely exhausted and sleeping all the time and feeling nauseous so while not that fun - quite reassuring in some ways to have good pregnancy symptoms.

I’m planning on getting a 9 week scan just to check it’s still OK before Xmas.

@Waitingformiracle let is know how your scan goes. Can’t believe you’re half way!

@CharLdn so good to have the heartbeat confirmed and having reassuring symptoms! I hope you're able to get the rest you need, it's difficult in the run up to Christmas. And good to get another scan just before, then you can relax and enjoy the holidays!

I'm 24 weeks now, just enjoying this period of having a nice sized bump before all the discomfort inevitably sets in and still pinching myself that we've got to this point.

I'm so pleased you saw the heartbeat that's amazing!

A small win from me to share - I've posted before about my struggle to go nicotine free. I'm now officially there. I still have a vape with 0 nicotine in it which helps with the hand-to-mouth habit, but no more nicotine liquid, no lozenges and no more risk of nicotine affecting blood flow to uterus etc. I've been smoke/cigarette free for much longer but this was a big hurdle for me.

Well done @MocktailMe huge acheivement I used to smoke and from what I’ve seen with friends vaping seems much more addictive so great work ❤️

Thank you 🙏 this is the first time in my adult life I've ever managed to fully quit nicotine so I am really proud of myself.

Hey sorry I forgot to update! Showing 19 follicles! I had my trigger injection last night and will be going under first thing tomorrow 🤞

Hey ladies...I am currently at home recovering from my egg retreival which got 21 eggs! I'll find out tomorrow how many of them were mature and have fertilised. I know there will be a huge drop off, but I'm so pleased to be starting out high. All being well I will have a transfer on the weekend.

Wow @MocktailMe that's a very good number !! Praying a good number of them will make it into healthy viable embryos! The transfer day so close now! Good luck, you've got this !

Thank you both! I feel quite rough actually still very sore I wasn't expecting it, but then I really was not expecting such a high number. 16/21 have fertilised and now just waiting to see how many make it to day 5.
