I miscarried 2/5/25 at 6 weeks, bled etc then 2 weeks after i noticed my ovulation discharge was there so we went for it and that would make 12 days post ovulation today so I did some tests from my work (hospital) is this even possible?! Decided I’m not testing again till Friday. Massively nervous as the last 2 pregnancies have ended before 7 weeks.

Hi @Mrs777 I understand how all over the place you must be feeling, I was in a similar position and so was my cousin. Yes it's definitely possible! It could be a new pregnancy or it could be hcg levels are slightly raised still from the previous pregnancy. So sorry for your losses. In my case it was a new pregnancy but it sadly didn't progress beyond 8 weeks, but for my cousin it did and her DS has arrived safe and sound! I think the only way you can get some answers is with an HCG blood test. As you've had 2 losses you should be able to go straight to EPU (self refer) but it may vary depending on the trust / region you live. Wishing you all the best with it, really hope it's a new strong sticky pregnancy ❤️

Thank you, I’ve done another one this morning. A few days after my most recent loss my tests were all negative. So I think this is a new pregnancy. What would the EPU do at this time? I want to ask my GP for progesterone but unsure she will give me it until I’ve been seen at the miscarriage clinic

They can scan you to confirm new pregnancy, even if too early to confirm if it's viable. I think that's right, am speaking from memory rather than medical background. But if you're confident it's a new one (I found it hard to believe having not had negative tests in between- nobody suggested i do a test after the first loss) then I guess just book in and hope for the best or see your gp and put in your request, see what they say. I think NICE guideline is prescribe progesterone after 2 losses IF you have bleeding again, but I understand you may want it to actually prevent such a scenario rather than feel like you might be waiting anxiously for bleeding at any time. That's how I would feel in your shoes if (when 🤞🏼) I get pregnant again. V tough, hope you're doing ok.

And quietly optimistic congrats to you by the way Smile just because the worst happened before does not mean it will happen again 🩷

Thanks everyone, I saw my dr yesterday and she contacted the EMU who said no to progesterone until I’m 6 weeks and have been scanned. So it’s just wait and see just now. My emotions are all over the place and I no between 6-7 I’ll be a wreck as that’s when it always happens 😩😩 anyway thanks for your kind support. X
