hi everyone,

I conceived in December when I had ovulation pains and took a opk and it was positive but we had also had sex two days before this. Sadly I am now ttc again after losing my baby in February. My cycles have been very very long with ovulation around day 30! Each time I’ve conceived my other children we’ve just watched for a positive opk and then had sex but I don’t remember how long we had sex before the opk was positive and I wasn’t too focused on that . Basically I am trying to have sex every 2-3 days now because these long cycles are tiring but when I eventually do see a positive opk I will have sex but I’m worrying that won’t be enough? Do I need to have sex a lot more leading up to the positive opk? Or can I assume just waiting for a positive opk and doing the deed then will be sufficient. It’s so hard to time things when you don’t know when ovulation will happen. I’ve had a lot of ewcm but the last two months I had 7-10 days of it so I can’t dtd every day I would be tired out probably 😂😂. Also I’m trying to do it every other day to make sure husbands sperm has replenished. We’ve done that before and it’s worked each time but yet the last two months we dtd daily over ovulation week and I didn’t conceive so I’m thinking of trying this out and maybe the sperm will be better quality I don’t know. 🤷‍♀️

Thanks all!
