I've taken Sainsburys tests now 5 days in a row and the feint line hasn't got darker. The reviews for this pregnancy test are shocking

I'm late on my period and ttc'ing since Feb and now my period is late with zero symptoms but now feeling really anxious about my age.

I'm not overweight and keep myself fit with my 4 year old toddler and work!

Need some reassurance as I cant speak to anyone without spilling the beans. I just wanted my son to have a brother or sister 😍

So risks and complications are higher at our age, but things can go wrong at any age. I'm 41 and 35 weeks pregnant so it can be done. I would get a better test and I absolutely know easier said than done but if it's positive all you can do is chill until about 7 weeks when you can get a private scan if you want.

Well childbirth is about the riskiest thing we do as women these days, but it's still very safe. So it depends what your concerns are really. Risks to you, risks of genetic conditions for the baby? All are higher but you can do a lot to mitigate or find out what's happening.

I had DS2 at 40... here we are 7 months later, I'm almost 41 and seriously considering trying for DC3... although this could be hormones speaking!
I had a couple of miscarriages before DS2 was conceived which perhaps was age related, and I got a high risk genetic screening result at 12 weeks so had to have further tests (all fine) which the midwife thought was age related. But plenty of women manage to have babies at 40+. Good luck OP!

There are more women giving birth over 40 than teenage girls having babies. You’re definitely not alone!

Thank you ladies for all the responses. I have had a very long journey just to get our little boy now 4 with x15 miscarriages x1 Missed-misscarriage, 2x IVF (both failed) over a 15 year period with my husband!

My husband is bringing home Clear Blue on way back from work

People are having babies much later but as other people have stated there are risks with every pregnancy and I'm sure your doctors will help you through the journey.

For me personally age is realitive if you look after yourself
