Pregnant after loss

I had a missed miscarriage in December. I found out at my 12-week scan that the baby had stopped growing around 8 weeks.

I’m now 6 weeks pregnant again. My booking appointment isn’t for another two weeks and my first scan isn’t until a month after that. Is there anything I should be doing in the meantime?

I’m taking Pregnacare Pregnancy Max. Last time, the midwife gave me extra folic acid and soluble aspirin. Should I start those again now while I wait? Anything else I should consider?
I’m 41 and this will be my last pregnancy, whatever the outcome.

Tentative congratulations on your new pregnancy OP. I've had losses myself and I know the fear and uncertainty new pregnancies can bring. If the midwife gave you the meds last time, it's probably best to contact the midwife team and check if you should start them up again this time I'm sure they'll be happy to advise you. Other than that it's a slow waiting game until your scan. Wishing you all the best with it and hoping for a positive outcome this time 🙏
