High FSH and AMH

Hi all,

33 and 10 months deep in the TTC trenches. I had been referred to fertility due to having a polyp in my uterus which needed removing but had now self resolved (yay). GP said to continue with the referral as I have been trying for a while with no luck, well last month I had a chemical pregnancy. Booked in for a hycosy next week.

Had my bloods taken on day 5 of this cycle to check my hormones. I got my 1-5 day bloods back at different times, initially got back my FSH which was 9.1. Fell into the rabbit hole of google and everything suggested that my AMH would be low, to my surprise it came back as 27.3 pmol/L which is also high. Although this was a sigh of relief I haven’t seen anyone else online that has similar readings, normally high FSH means low AMH. I’ve always been quite a hairy individual so assumed that I had PCOS but all 3 TV ultrasounds haven’t suggested PCOS. My appointment with a consultant is a few months away. Anyone had similar readings?

9.1 isn't majorly high.

Did you also get an LH measurement?
