Hi everyone, I’ve attached a picture of my test from yesterday (light) and then this morning (dark). Would you say this is a positive? My opk usually are almost nonexistent.

also a bit worried as me and my partner last dtd 3 days ago so I don’t want to miss the egg. How soon after the positive opk does the egg come out and do we have time to catch it still?

This looks pretty positive to me. It varies from person to person but is generally quoted as anything from 24-36 hours after positive OPK. I was told by fertility nurse specialist to have sperm there ready and waiting for the egg, so the couple of days before are crucial. I'd say you still have plenty of time if you can go for it now, tomorrow, and even the day after just for good measure. Good luck!

Yeah I agree, I would say it’s positive, and ovulation typically happens 24-36 hours after the start of the surge. One thing to say, just because you got a positive test this morning, doesn’t mean the surge didn’t start sometime between your last negative and current positive. So your countdown to ovulation doesn’t necessarily just start the second you see the positive ovulation test, the surge could have started before.
