Weird first period after miscarriage

I’m 7 weeks post medically managed miscarriage. Bleeding/spotting stopped after a few weeks.
Had my first period 5 weeks after the MC. It was light to begin with but did ramp up a bit. But I’m now on day 13 and still getting brown spotting at points through the day (have had a negative test)

Anyone else had this? With previous losses my period was a normal length. Driving me a bit mad

Maybe it's taken a while for everything to completely clear? Big hugs though. After my MC in March, I had a standard cycle (30 days, albeit without finding an OPK peak), followed by a ridiculous 17 day cycle (with a silly early peak on CD6!), and now I've just had another BFP....my other pregnancies all took a year or more (3 for the one in Feb!) so my mind is blown that this has happened only 3 months on, I'm just a bit terrified, but it just shows that anything can happen.

@curliegirlie thanks, I’m hoping it is just everything clearing. But each day I think it’s stopped, and then it starts again! I’m waiting on genetic results before TTC again so at least I have some time for it to settle.
