harshest but best advice is to stop obsessively testing so early and often and spare yourself the heartache.

If weren’t testing like this you would have never known about the chemicals. It will really mess with your head.

that being said - HCG concentration changes depending on how much fluids youve had… try to only test every 48 hrs and with first morning urine so that your urine isn’t diluted

wishing you the best, good luck

@Lulu89x
thabk you for your input. However I can’t just not test, I need to know if pregnancy is continuing and have to start immune suppressing medication and steroids. I have complex medical condition, where pregnancy would get attacked by my own body and destroyed. But since the medications are very serious iv only to take them with strong pregnancy. Also it’s not stressing me much, since iv had many chemicals, im used to it, just waiting for one to stick.

but that is exactly it.. pregnancy tests are designed to tell you if you have conceived or not.. it doesn't tell you if its viable or if it will progress.

I can only go by what you say.. you said in your original you are panicking because you had many chemicals in the past..

You are only CD 26 on a 29/35 day cycle which is very early. We are talking about a matter of days. Put the tests down and test closer to when your period is actually 'due'

If your meds are v. serious and you are only to take them with a 'strong pregnancy', try to wait until you miss your period!

Pregnancy tests won't tell you if it's a viable pregnancy. Just that an egg has been fertilised and you are producing hcg.
If you are on such strong medication and ttc are you under any care with fertility specialists, doctors, or midwives?
If so, surely blood tests would be a better indication of a "viable" pregnancy than a test strip that can tell you no more than hcg is detected.
I've had strong lines that have resulted in mcs and weak lines that never got strong that resulted in children.
And if the medications are very strong then surely you need to be monitored before going cold turkey and stopping or altered to tale care of your condition while pregnant.
I would highly suggest you talk to a medical professional instead of a random person on mn who can a) give you better information regarding your medication and b) perform the tests needed to help identify a pregnancy that is viable and in the correct place also c) point you in the right direction for fertility tests and treatments if you are having multiple losses.

My apologies. I reread. Change all the stopping meds to starting. Either way. Medical professional needed!
