7dpo - the dreaded TWW

Hi everyone, as the title suggests. Cycle 2 of TTC for DH and I, and I hate the 2ww! Actually done very well this round to not overthink everything and symptom spot. So far at 7/8dpo I only have a dull ache in my tummy and have had a cold sore which rocked up around ovulation (bit strange as I usually only get them when on my period and in winter). Also some intense mood swings since around ovulation when normally I'm pretty chill! No very obvious symptoms however.
Stupidly caved today and did an easy@home which I thought showed a faint hint of something. Did another and thought the same, but maybe just cautiously optimistic. Anyone else?

Hey! I’m 8dpo and I feel light cramps, like a thread, in the middle of lower abdomen (below belly button). Idk how to interpret that, any help? 😂 My boobs are swollen but same as usual during LP.
Haven’t buy tests yet, told DH to order some from Amazon, but I tried and experiment with some LH opk strips and ofc nothing 🤣🤣
Tbh I don’t know when I should test, I was planning on 12 dpo but it’s sooo far away in the future. For now I’m just researching implantation symptoms online but it’s not of a much help. Hope you’re fine and you’ll get positive ✨

Hey @MsFr! Welcome 😊 seems like we're at a similar stage! Honestly no insight on the cramps 🙈 but sounds interesting! Do you usually get them at this point? So far I just feel a sort of dull ache on and off, but knowing my luck it's probably wind 😂 boobs seem the same, but started craving certain foods, which might just be pms.
I suppose the best advice is usually to hold off testing as long as you can but that would be very hypocritical of me as I'm pretty bad! I think 9dpo is probably the earliest you'll get a bfp if you implant early. I'm planning on testing every morning from tomorrow (8/9 dpo). Sending baby dust your way! ✨

Thanks @LavenderHaze04! I would be lying if I said it didn’t happen but it’s not quite normal for my cycle to feel that. Usually I get crampy and gassy a week before period or so, but nothing like that. It’s odd for me. I have no dull ache, neither mythical implantation bleeding, not sleepy, feeling pretty normal, maybe even more normal than usual since I can get moody during lp, but now I’m in a pretty good mood. 🤩
Do you track your BBT? Thank God I still have no tests, I know I’d do at least 2 today to get that dopamine rush lmao 😂

Although, 8/9 dpo is possible too early to detect anything but I hope you’ll see something there if you had earlier implantation.

It sounds promising @MsFr, but don't you feel the tww just makes you go a bit crazy? I start questioning every little itch and niggle honestly 🙈 but you never know, maybe your lack of symptoms is a good thing?
I have done bbt tracking before but I didn't this cycle! Honestly it's a month of just going with the vibes 😂 are you tracking yours? Haha I'm with you on the tests! It's so hard to resist isn't it.

Exactly, mind is a dangerous playground. I think I’m out but we’ll see. I’m not tracking, just do couple of times during cycle just to know my baseline. I did have higher temp at around 3dpo (37.1) but I think it was just allergies attack + virus or something. I was sick for few days so I wouldn’t trust my BBT now. Any news? Did you test?

Yes BFN for me this morning at (suspected) 8dpo, no surprises as still very early. Still having that dull ache but nothing else really. Haven't noticed any CM changes either, who knows what's going on

So an update- had some brown streaky stuff (sorry TMI!) early this evening. I do usually spot for a few days before AF but it's usually very light brown and mucusy, and this was dark brown and streaky. Still 6 days till AF due...

@LavenderHaze04 fingers crossed it's just spotting or old implantation blood or something :) as you said 8/9dpo is still early! You're not out till AF rears her red head

I won’t let myself think much of it, just counting days 😀 one less to go!
This is our second try for a baby, I had D&C last July at around 9th week of pregnancy, I was on high risk meds and doc sent me to terminate it, it’s the first child we’re trying for. We took some time for healing after that, and it’s time to do it the right way. 🤞
Update us tomorrow, or maybe wait for few days more (to protect yourself from dissapoinment) until the time is right. That spotting could be a good sign!

We only started TTC last month for our first so it's all so new! Never been pregnant before so I'm honestly just learning as I'm going along.

Somehow managed self-restraint today and didn't test, figured if the bleed was implantation related then it'll take a couple days to show anyway. 9dpo today, think I'll test tomorrow 😅

Bottom is a super drug early test, top is frer. Might not be visible on the top but it's there, albeit very faint in person!

Thank you @MsFr! I can't quite believe it, we're both actually still in shock. Trying not to get too ahead of ourselves, but both positives showed up pretty quickly which is reassuring. Actually only tested because we popped into superdrug earlier for some other things and I'd read good things about their own brand tests so decided to just go for it! Actually can't believe it. I believe I'm 9dpo this evening. Will see if lines get stronger tomorrow ✨

Re-took the superdrug today and line looks similar if not ever so slightly fainter, but think that's not unreasonable. How are you doing? Did you test today? 😊
