I’ve been feeling out of sorts for about a week now, and I feel exactly as I did when I was pregnant with my other children.

My app is usually accurate for my predicted ovulation day, but this month I didn’t feel my usual ovulation pain and on a whim I took an opk on my predicted day but it came back negative (not even a hint of a second line). 01/05 was the predicted day and that was CD 15.

AF was due on 13/05, which is also usually accurate on the app, but it didn’t arrive until 15/03 and it only last 3 days before it stopped yesterday evening, which is also unusual for me. The first day was just spotting, the second and third day less than 10ml each in the cup (and some of that volume was just watery discharge). It’s completely stopped now.

I tested negative on HPTs on 13/05 and 17/05. I can’t tell if I ovulated late and whether the bleed was just an odd AF or if I could be pregnant. It’s extremely unlikely because I have a copper IUD, but not impossible, and I can only feel one of the strings so it might have moved out of place.

The symptoms, which haven’t settled after AF, are worsening painful breasts and stinging nipples, food and smell aversions and hypersensitivity, period-like cramping (but a bit worse than I’m used to, which happened when I was pregnant before), frequently peeing, nausea, headaches, stuffiness, very tired all the time, bloating and some sharp pains to either side of my uterus, some of the pains are lower in the pelvis like ovulation pain and some are a little higher and feel exactly like round ligament pain.

How long would you wait before testing again? If it doesn’t settle in a few days I’ll see my GP, but I feel pregnant and can’t shake the feeling because it’s so distinct!

Adding that I’ve also had bad acne, which I usually don’t get either!

On the basis of what you’ve written and negative tests to date

I would say you’re not pregnant

nothing to lose (aside from another test) by testing again today
