Progesterone higher than average at 7dpo, anyone else had this and ended up getting their BFP that cycle?

Hi, I had mine done this last cycle and it was sky high, worryingly high in fact! No BFP though 🤨

@Objectiontime yeah I’m about to
come on my period so it wasn’t because I’m pregnant. Mine was classed as borderline so could have just been from strong ovulation or maybe I ovulated more than one egg or I don’t know. Did your GP say why it may be?

No, to be honest they are going to redo it because it was over 80!! We do have some sets of twins in the family. I seem to bectge only one who cant seem to get just one but it was high even for two follicles. Maybe I ovulated several eggs. Would have been great if one or two of them had done tge job though!

Wow that is high!! Mine was 52.7nmol so only just out of the range of 13-46. Maybe you did ovulate more than one egg?? Have they checked for cysts? I am going to ask about that to see if that could be why. I had scans two years ago and ovaries all good but I read that sometimes ovulation can cause a cyst that goes away alone in a month or so but can elevate progesterone.

Ohh I didnt know that, I am due a scan soon so maybe they will see.
