I opened the inside of my clear blue digital after being late on my period. It read negative but inside the lines are visible blue
anyone know what this mean?

Those types of tests have 2 lines for negative tests. You're not supposed to break them open.

Em3009 · 13/05/2025 08:45

the digitals always have 3 lines in them x

Do another test? This time don’t open the inside of the actual test….( who does that)

timeforbabyno1 · 13/05/2025 08:54

You will be suprised how many people open them actually. I had never thought of opening until I came across a thread then u was intrigued. I know they have 3 lines but these seem quite blue considering it says not pregnant? I’ve seen some that you can barely see so just wondering if anyone has experienced the same or knows anything

Do another test. I did about 3 when I fell pregnant.

It doesn't really matter what the colours or lines look like to our eyes, as the test reads the levels and interprets the result as positive or negative. So a negative result means it hasn't detected HCG to confirm pregnancy. I've opened one before too and it was quite blue but negative, I've learned my lesson now and won't open one again. How many DPO are you? Could you test again in a few days?😊

I don’t know about tests these days but can you tell me what you’ve laid them on , the off white, wrinkled fabric. I can’t work out what it is!

I think it’s like a marble effect table / worktop
