Hi
I’ve been TTC for 3 years, under fertility clinic for 2 years. We tried Letrozole at 2.5mg (CD 3-7) for 6 months with no success. During our consultancy meeting the Dr said our next hope was IVF, as ultrasounds and bloods was showing I was ovulating on 2.5mg. But I am currently overweight and unable to access IVF on NHS, so we asked Dr if we could try 5mg Letrozole for two cycles as we had medication left, whilst I continue to loose weight (Need to loose 4.5 stone in total and currently lost 2.5 stone) and he said that 5mg for two cycles was fine!

this cycle was my first time taking 5mg (CD 3-7), I started doing clear blue digital ovulation tests on CD 7 and got negative. On CD 8+9 I got a flashing smiley face (Lh surge). On CD 10 I got a solid smiley face for peak ovulation. Today CD 13 I am getting negatives.
In my past cycles I usually ovulated around CD 21!

Has anyone else ovulated really early on higher dose Letrozole ? Or is this a possible false positive?
