Did you just have egg collection?. Were you at risk for OHSS? You should not be experience serious pain only maybe a little discomfort that can be managed with panadole. If your in a lot of discomfort id suggest to call your clinic. I hope everything is fine and your going to be ok.

I’ve had 6 egg collections and never had any pain. What type of pain are you having? If you’re in a lot of pain you should probably speak to your clinic

From the last IVF experience just after I woke up from egg collection I felt fine. It was only until the next day I felt I was broken there and couldn’t walk. This took about two weeks to recover- I thought it was normal and was surprised I hadnt seen anything online about the pain after collection. Thanks for the insight - I am currently going to go for treatment again but really dreading it.

@Butterflytalks it sounds like you developed OHSS . It's definitely not normal to take 2 weeks to recover. Talk to your clinic about this so it doesn't happen again or you have more monitoring after egg collection.
