Help! Are these indent lines?

Steffi12 · 09/05/2025 14:03

I’ve driving myself a little crazy and feel like I need some opinion on these tests 🙉
I fear they are indent lines but I do feel like they have gotten a little darker since my 8dpo tests where I thought I could see shadows

The first picture is wondfo 9dpo PM & 10dpo AM
The second picture is easy at home 9dpoPM & 10dpo AM

I do feel like I can see some colour to the lines but unsure if I’m just wishing it to be there. I took a clear blue ultra early digital this morning (10dpo) but that was negative 😔

Thanks xx

It’s super difficult to say! I can definitely see the lines, but they may very well be indent lines. Are you sure of when you ovulated? I know the wait is torture x

Steffi12 · 09/05/2025 15:15

@LolaBumble
Thank you so much for your reply! And for confirming that I haven’t got major line eyes but also appreciate they could well be indents 😰
So I did track this cycle, my peak was on the 28th of April with a clear blue advanced ovulation test and the easy at home LH strips to fairly
certain I ovulated on the 29th of April leaving me at 10dpo today.
I absolutely hate the wait 😩 Xx

Just taken these now which look very similar. I think they are indents. I was even super careful to make sure I was only dipping them for the time the instructions said incase I was over doing it or something but still got these weird lines x

Yeah lines are definitely there, feels like forever but in a couple of days you’ll know either way! Keeping my fingers crossed for you those lines get darker!

Never used Wondfo but I have found easy at home a nightmare for indents before... I quite like the Mommed strips.

Steffi12 · 10/05/2025 08:30

@LolaBumble thank you so much!!❤️
so another update this morning I’ll post a picture. Strips look more promising but I had no digitals left. Ran out to the shop and all they had were the week indicator ones. Which does say can detect lower levels of the 10hcg but as you can see that’s negative 😩
Im worried I am being stung by some nasty indent lines but they come up within the timeframe and seem pinker to me. My urine was quite dark this morning so unsure if that has anny baring?! Annoyingly my husband says he can’t see the lines 🙄 such a rollercoaster!

I haven’t heard of the mommed strips I’ll definitely have a look into those thank you X

Oh dear sorry about the digital test! 😞

I agree the lines are definitely there! But my hunch is they may well be indents. Maybe do a little experiment and dip them in water? See if the same lines come up?

It’s difficult enough TTC without dodgy tests confusing things.

11dpo may still be a bit early for reliable tests anyway. I used to try and hold off testing till 12dpo xx

Steffi12 · 10/05/2025 11:20

@LolaBumble
thanks you so much, I’ll be honest when I saw those morning I thought I was going to get that positive digital 😔

And thank you so much for confirming you see something as I said my husband says he can’t see anything, making me think I’m crazy 🙈
so that’s a great idea! I’ve done that and I’ll attach the picture, sorry sending loads of pics 😅 it looks stark white to me, I’ve put my morning test underneath, which is completely dry now and I can see some pink but I know they say you shouldn’t read/trust them after ten mins 🙈

It really is!! I’m starting to get a bit cynical and wondering if these companies make them like this so you keep testing and buying them🙉

Yes, every month I try to tell myself to hold off but then that doesn’t last! I’ve had 4 recurrent miscarriages and have been positive by 10dpo with three. The first I was much more chill and didn’t test until the day before I was due my period which I think was around 13dpo. I’ve also got medication to start this time as soon as I get that positive which doesn’t help as I want to know as soon as possible 🙈

Thank you so much for your replies, I find TTCing so lonely at times and it’s really helped xx

Honestly they LOOK positive to me.. but it’s still early. My strip tests were SO faint until about 13/14dpo (pics attached). I got a positive digital at 11dpo I think? And I’m 37.5 weeks now :)

@MrsKurz
Thank you so much for reply and pics, that’s really helpful🥰

And massive congratulations on your pregnancy 🥰💐
Can I ask if you used a clear blue week detector at 11dpo or the early result digital one? It says the week detector one says should read as low as 10hcg but I’ve read conflicting information that they may not be as sensitive as the ones that just read pregnant or not pregnant. I’ve got some of those on order to arrive today to test tomorrow morning if I see similar lines. Dread to think how much I’ve spent on tests this month 🙈

I hope I am just a little early🤞🏻 xx

So sorry to hear about your miscarriages! 😞 don’t think anyone prepares you for how lonely trying to convince can be!

Not sure how your husband is missing that line! I would be cautiously optimistic with these tests, keeping everything crossed for your morning test 🤞

Keep us updated! Xxx

DefinitelyMaybe92 · 10/05/2025 13:41

You’ll always get positive line/cheapie tests before a digital anyway. Best of luck!!

Steffi12 · 10/05/2025 14:43

@LolaBumble
Thank you so much 🩷 I know it really is, it’s much harder than I ever anticipated!
And I know!! He’s been like this before with faint lines, that’s why I had to get a digital as he needs to see the words, so was a bit disheartened this morning. I hope this is another chance for us🤞🏻
will 100% update in the morning!

@DefinitelyMaybe92 Thank you so much!! Hoping this is real 🤞🏻🩷

Thank you all so much again for your replies ladies, it really helps me feel like I’m not in it alone 💜

So this mornings update 🥹💜
They weren’t indents! I cant believe it!!
The strips look kinda similar to yesterdays which I was a bit worried about but I know hcg rises every 48hours and it’s a lot more obvious than my 10dpo tests. The picture doesn’t really show the pinkness to the strips but it’s definitely there and then there’s the digital🥰

Thanks so much for all your input ladies, I really hope we get to meet this baby ❤️ xx

Ahhhh I really thought they were positive!! So happy to read this update. And I used the early detection digital. Honestly the weeks indicator ones progressed slower for me than they “should” have and it stressed me out. But my pregnancy has been on track and healthy. Really hope the same for you ❤️❤️

Steffi12 · 12/05/2025 07:49

@MrsKurz thank you so much 🥰 and that’s great to hear! So glad you’ve had a healthy pregnancy❤️
My husband was like why was the digital before negative and I said it’s not as sensitive 🙈

My only worry is I’ve done more tests this morning and if I’m honest expected them to be darker 😩 I’ll attach a pic
My husband says he can atleast see the faint lines which is an improvement but I’m worried. Did you say your strip tests were faint too at the start? Im 13dpo and due on my period tomorrow. Sounds silly but I’ve always had great progression in the past even though those babies weren’t to be.
I’m just starting to worry it’s a chemical I’ve never had one of those before and I’ve started progesterone so unsure if that would mask a chemical xx

How are you doing today?

Those tests look like they are getting darker to me, but I can understand your worry. Maybe see if your GP can do a blood test for reassurance? Especially as you are on progesterone I imagine they will want to keep a close eye on you.

Hope you have not got too much on this week and you’re taking lots of care x

Steffi12 · 14/05/2025 07:00

@LolaBumble
Hey, thank you so much for checking in ❤️
so I’ve continued to test and they just aren’t getting darker at all. After a lot of hassle yesterday I have managed to get hold of the nurse I see for the miscarriage clinic and I am going for bloods this morning and Friday to assess my hcg levels and progression. I’ve taken some tests just now, which is my missed period day and 15dpo, the strips are just the same if not a little lighter. I also ordered a FRER and the line on that is barely there. I’d definitely expect decent lines at this point 😓
Im just feeling so deflated after everything. The progesterone I’m on I think is holding off the bleeding😓

But thank you so much. Will keep you updated, hope you’re doing okay xx

Oh dear I am very sorry to hear that 😞 you have been through so much, trying to conceive can be so traumatic. Do you have good support around you? You must feel exhausted with it all. Keeping everything crossed that those blood tests are not what you are expecting. Sending lots of love and do take care of yourself xx

Steffi12 · 15/05/2025 08:13

@LolaBumble
thank you so much ❤️ my work are very understanding and friends are great. My husband tries to be but he struggles too 😔
My blood test confirmed what I already expected, my hcg was 5💔 I expected it to be low but not that low!
I have a recheck tomorrow to check it’s the same/lower and then to stop my medication. It’s so sad as I should have miscarried by now but the medication is doing its job, unfortunately this one wasn’t meant to be 😓

Thank you so much for all your kind words and support over this past week xxx

Ahhh I’m so sorry to read this, not the outcome we wanted at all 😢

look after yourself xx

Steffi12 · 17/05/2025 08:07

@LolaBumble @MrsKurz
Thank you both so much for all your support and kind words❤️
Just a final update, my hcg blood result yesterday was less than 1, so it’s been fully confirmed and I’ve stopped all my medication and now waiting for the inevitable 😓

Thank you so much again xx
