Implantation bleeding BUT negative test

Hello girls!
Yesterday it was my 10 DPO. My period is due this Saturday (in 3 days). Yesterday I had cramps all the day, light brown spotting and nausea (without vomiting). I’m pretty sure that it was implantation spotting as my period comes with super heavy menstrual bleeding. This morning I took a digital CB test and it was negative. How is this possible? Did I take the test too early? Did anyone have a similar experience? How did it go at the end?

If you potentially only had implantation yesterday then there wouldn't be enough hormone in your system to show up yet - try and wait until your period is due to test - easier said than done i know!

Was it a pregnancy?

All those symptoms happen with increase of progestrone and possibly a big surge. It doesnt mean pregnancy. It can be PMS
