I have a pelvic and abdominal CT scan tomorrow with contrast for ongoing abdominal and pelvic pain.
we are trying for a baby and I’m cycle day 23 tomorrow. I am not sure when I ovulated this month but I usually ovulate later than day 14.
Pregnancy test is obviously negative but I’m stressing that if I am pregnant (as in just conceived or implanted) and I have the ct scan it will be dangerous and risky due to the radiation.
But rationally I’m thinking that say if I was just pregnant very very early after conceiving if it’s too early to show on a test then it would be too early to do any damage if there was a baby?!
Anybody been in a similar position please? I’m over thinking and a worrier at the best of times.
