Ovulation spotting?

Hey ladies 🤍 so I either ovulated yesterday or today. I had really painful cramps last night, and dull cramps today. Yesterday after dtd my cm was tinged pinky brown. And later that day slightly pink cm when I wiped and again today. I’ll attach photo. I’ve never had this before? Im 37, been trying to conceive the last 18 months with a 6 week loss in October last year. Nothing since 😩 started taking coq10 this cycle as I’ve read great things regarding it helping sperm and egg quality if your over 30. Does anybody know what the spotting when I wipe could be? I’m reading stuff online and worrying I’ve got low progesterone or something else is wrong 😂 any advice I’d be extremely grateful 🤍 thank you xx

I nearly always spot and cramp when I ovulate, I can usually even tell which side I ovulate on! It's not unusual it's called Mittleschmertz (translates to middle pain). It can be useful when trying to conceive as it can make it easier to track ovulation.

I don’t know what that orange-ish thing is but it wouldn’t worry me. During my ovulation I get tons of EWCM that needs rounds of wiping and I can tell which side I ovulate on as I feel this sharpness/tightness until the egg releases. As you DTD yesterday perhaps that colour is from it still. Good luck!

you say you started taking coq-10 which is great as I think it really helps. Is your DH/P taking it too? We struggled to get pregnant for years after initial mc and I only got pregnant once I started taking coq-10 every day and agnus castus first 14 day of my cycle. I got recommended taking agnus castus at H&B by a sales lady who had looked into fertility and conception for her friend who was struggling. Are you taking any pregnancy supplements? I also bought Conceive Plus instead of Pregnacare as the lady said it would be better quality.

@FlyHighSky72it should help with PMS, menstrual disorders and fertility. But you cannot take it if pregnant or breastfeeding hence I only took it CD1-14.

Oh amazing! How long did it take you to get pregnant when you started taking it? I just had some more streaks of blood in my cm. 3/4 dpo today. I really hope it’s good and somethings happening. Yeah I’ve been taking the seven seas ones? They probably aren’t the best I just grabbed what they had in the shop but I wanna change to something else. Yeah my partners been taking the cq10 also. I had a really painful ovulation this cycle. Had a bit of boob ache but nothing major. And crampy. Back ache. Other than that I feel ok x

I started the supplements 2nd week of June and I got pregnant beginning of August. Fingers crossed for you!

@Kels21 i am nearly 41 and I have been spotting during ovulation for about a year and a half.

I would strongly recommend seeing a doctor to rule out other things before you can say that it’s ovulation spotting, just to be safe.

I had some blood tests done and a transvaginal ultrasound. They discovered an endometrial polyp. I was scheduled for surgery to remove it but a more recent ultrasound showed that it was gone, but I still get the ovulation spotting and it always happens right at the LH surge with the EWCM.

Any bleeding outside of your period should be checked out by a doctor, just to be on the safe side. its probably fine but best to be sure.

I wouldn’t say it’s really spotting. More like streaks of blood occasionally in my cm. But it’s only been this cycle that’s done it.
