Is this a bfp?

I have a 3 month old baby and haven’t been feeling myself over the last few days…. Could someone cast their eyes over this and do you think it could be a bfp before I start panicking?

I do see something OP, was it there within the timeframe?

MissScarletInTheBallroom · 02/05/2025 09:35

Difficult to tell, but it's not impossible.

TK220440 · 02/05/2025 09:38

@twodoorsup It came up after about a minute…. My periods haven’t settled into a regular pattern yet since having my dd

It could go either way at this point, may be worth doing a long hold & retesting in the afternoon or of course waiting until the morning, it can take a while for things to settle post-partum, and I take it you've been having unprotected sex? So it's very much possible it could be a real positive?

TK220440 · 02/05/2025 11:50

@twodoorsup We have had sex on a few occasions, once or twice using the pullout method which (I know) is very unreliable! I wasn’t sure if internet cheapies had indent lines, but I guess time will tell!

I can see something on the first and 100% see something on the second test, I would say yes you are pregnant

Firefly42 · 02/05/2025 13:18

Def positive!

TK220440 · 02/05/2025 20:43

@Firefly42 oh wow.. it can’t be an indent? I will test again in a few days.. I don’t feel quite ready yet!

How did you get on this morning OP?

TK220440 · 03/05/2025 09:58

Hiya @twodoorsup .. I don’t have any tests at home unfortunately so I’ll pop out and pick one up in an hour or so. I haven’t yet discussed with my partner as I firstly need to process the possibility myself and secondly I feel he may be completely overwhelmed

I see a line

RoseannesMamma · 03/05/2025 19:27

That looks positive to me. Have you managed to get another test?

twodoorsup · 04/05/2025 11:17

@TK220440 that's totally understandable, if you are you have to process it first before being able to say it out loud to someone else. Did you manage to test again?

TK220440 · 04/05/2025 16:43

@twodoorsup sorry for the delay.. I’ve just done a test and I think it’s safe to say I’m pregnant.. however today I think I may have a prolapse from the birth of my DD.. I have a strange ‘buldge’ coming out from my vagina when I wee/strain… I fly to Greece on Wednesday, I’m not sure how this affects pregnancy.. but won’t have time to go to the doctors.. my head is a little all over the room

Do your pelvic floor exercises...and see a GP after your holiday... does sound like a prolapse (however it's early days and they can and do improve)

I had a prolapse..and like you was pregnant again 3 months after my baby was born. It was ok. I did eventually have to get surgery but not until I'd finished my family (I had 3 children in 2 years... clearly the mini pill didn't work for me!) So if you go ahead with the pregnancy it's doable :)
