Is it possible?
TTC number 2. Had my first at 43.
Just wondering if anyone had done this?
my chances are 0.05 % I know, but GP said the same at 43…

I would have thought that since you conceived at 43 your chances are higher than the average for all women. The average includes women who went through menopause at 40 etc. You know you could conceive 3 years ago so your fertility definitely lasted longer than some people's! I'm not explaining what I mean very well 🙈

However at 46 it's best to be realistic. I would try to have the mindset that this probably won't work, and don't put life plans on hold for it. But since every month counts I would also do everything possible to help it happen so that could feel I'd tried my best. Maintain a healthy weight, don't drink any alcohol, eat well, exercise but not to extremes, take supplements etc.

An outside chance, but you never know!

I had my third at 43 and my fourth at 46 (one and two at 39 and 40), all naturally conceived and healthy. Chances of miscarriage are sky-high and it's physically exhausting, but I feel very blessed.
