Am I ovulating?

I’ve been tracking for close to a year for trying to go for first IUI. I’m struggling to get consistent smiley faces using the clear blue sticks. I’ve had low numbers on the easy@home OPK strips this year and can’t seem to detect my LH surge at all. Cycle is pretty regular but I am wondering if I am ovulating at all. I have a high AMH score and consultant said that sometimes this can affect ovulation but that it would be an easy fix with meds. Just looking to hear if anyone else is struggling to get that confirmed ovulation, as this is what I need in order to go ahead with IUI.

Do you take your temperature or track cervical mucus?

IndigoBluey · 01/05/2025 00:32

It just seems an average level from CD11 - CD21. In the months I got the smiley flash with clear blue it would spike up to 0.9 / 1 and then ovulated the following day. Not sure what is going on.

I haven’t tried taken temperature, although I do always notice a lot of mucus around the expected ovulation time. For example yesterday and today more so was really sticky / mucus but my levels on the strips seem low or no change to say earlier in the tracking days this month

What day do you start testing? CD11? If this were me, I would have missed my peak already. My LH surge occurs around CD 10-12.

@IndigoBlueyif you have EWCM it would suggest that you are ovulating but a temp dip/rise would confirm

it looks like you are testing once a day, or perhaps skipping a day. For me, I need to test at least twice a day otherwise I miss it. When I think I am nearing my fertile window I test multiple times throughout the day. (maybe 3 or 4 times) I know that might be overkill for some, but my LH rise happens very suddenly and the goes very quickly. So if I don't test multiple times a day I miss it. For example, this morning at 7.30 it said 0.42 but by 11.30am today it had jumped to 1.41 and my line was very dark.

Thanks all. I need to start testing more frequently it seems!
