Oh no @VanessaShanessaJenkins99 seeing your period is awful isn't it, because you can't help but have a tiny bit of hope until then. Your plan for next month sounds like a good idea.
I forgot to test this morning 🙈 but I have started bleeding anyway so I guess that's a bit pointless.

@VanessaShanessaJenkins99 aww, I'm sorry. I think ChatGPT can be a bit unreliable for this kind of thing. I've seen a lot of women getting their hopes up after putting in their charts or temps to then be crushed. Not tracking and DTD every other day. It will take the pressure off, especially with the lead up to Christmas. I hope you're feeling ok x

@GrizzlyTheBear how are you feeling now that the bleeding has started?x

Not too bad. I got a negative test so that's definitely that. It's unfortunate, as I had started getting attached and now I don't know how I feel. I was so sure about stopping TTC and now I'm all confused again. What a pain.

@GrizzlyTheBear I'm sorry it hasn't given you the clarity you wanted. What does DH think?

He's sitting firmly on the same fence as me unfortunately. We both really want three kids, but it's whether the desire for a third overrides the awkwardness of the bigger age gap we would have now so much time has gone past. It's so tough.

I will wait a few days until the hormones have gone down anyway 🤣

@GrizzlyTheBear yeah, good idea. I wouldn't make any decisions now with all the hormones x

I had my anatomy scan yesterday and everything is looking perfect!

Oh that's fantastic news.! Xx I'm due on my period on Christmas Day ! But my husband and I have had this brutal flu/cold thing that's going round so have been off work all week! So I'm guessing my body its using all it's resources to fight that rather than make a baby 🙈

I'm due my period around the same time - on Christmas Eve I think. I'm 9dpo today, but haven't been thinking about it much tbh. I don't know what I want so I'm probably burying my head in the sand.

Do you both have good Christmas plans? Hopefully you will feel better by Christmas @VanessaShanessaJenkins99 !

We're going to my family for Christmas Day and DPs on the 28th after he finishes his shift. We also got good news about my Dad's cancer treatment yesterday so it's been a good week all round! His tumours have remained stable and he can have a break from treatment until the end of January.
What plans do you have?

@SureLook that's fantastic. What a relief to get a break from it. I hope you all have a really good Christmas together.

We are going to a cousin's house nearby with a bunch of other relatives, including some other small kids, so it will probably be a bit wild. I have found Christmas quite gruelling since having kids (I long to sit on a sofa with a glass of wine and a decent Christmas movie like the old days!) but hopefully mine are getting old enough that we will soon be through that phase 🤞

I'm the same. Christmas is very different with small children. There's not really much relaxing is there?! How old are your kids?

They're 4 and 2. Christmas is really fun, but just so full on - definitely no relaxing! But the older one is a lot more sensible now, and the younger is sometimes sensible. Hopefully more civilised times to come 🤣

@GrizzlyTheBear I always imagined your children being older for some reason! I'd say you've your hands full 😂 the relaxing years will come back for all of us 🤞🏻

@VanessaShanessaJenkins99 how are you getting on - is the illness away? And have you tested yet?

Hey - I started with some real light bleeding on Friday- not due on until Xmas day- but then I realised that since last Monday I've not been taking any supplements ! So think that that's mucked my hormones up this month.
How about you? Have you tested? Xx

@VanessaShanessaJenkins99 oh no! So do you think that was your period starting early on Fri then? Seems mental for your luteal phase to be 6 days shorter just due to missing supplements 😧 Are you definitely not pregnant?
No I haven't tested. AF isn't due until tomorrow or possibly Christmas Day. Will try to wait until Boxing day to test, if it doesn't turn up.

Hi Guy's xx period has still not shown up and my pregnancy tests are negative so I don't have a clue what's going on ! We tried to have a laid back approach this cycle so I'm not 100% sure when I ovulated but I know the last time we had sex was the 11th ! So I'm pretty sure I'm not pregnant xx how are you @GrizzlyTheBear have you tested? Xx

@VanessaShanessaJenkins99 yeah, if you ovulated on say the 13th you'd be 14dpo now wouldn't you, so a test would be showing positive by today for sure. That is very confusing. Maybe you ovulated really late/haven't ovulated yet?

Yes, I did a test this morning and it was positive. Not sure what to think. I'm not as horrified as I was last month, so I suppose that's a plus... But I keep thinking, oh no, we won't be able to do xyz with the kids if we have another one. But then I always wanted three 🤷 Hmm.

@VanessaShanessaJenkins99 yeah, that is confusing alright. Did you notice an increase in EWCM or anything? Maybe you ovulated much later than normal.

@GrizzlyTheBear tentative congratulations on the positive test. How are you feeling about it today?

@SureLook I don't know really. I've got attached now, so if I lost it I think I'd be both sad and relieved at the same time. I think I'm probably a bit resigned to losing it, since I've lost the last three, so I'm kind of expecting that outcome I think. So trying not to think too much about what might happen if I don't!

@GrizzlyTheBear I understand those feelings. Let's see how the next few days go. Are you gonna test or just see what happens?

@SureLook well I did a test a couple of days ago, and I don't think I need to do another one as it was a decent line. I might be able to get an early scan this time if I get that far.
