Hi all. Moving over from the Christmas due date thread to continue the chats and support x

Just a measly 6dpo I fear! No symptoms to fret over for at least a week yet. Kids are on holidays this week and next though so I'm run ragged and no time to think about it much.

I have no real idea about bbt and this is just from my fitbit but what do you think...... 🤔

@VanessaShanessaJenkins99 I have to say I don't understand it!

I can't see any temperatures on the graph? Is 0 your average temp and then over the month your temp varies by something like 1° below your average and 1° over it? If that's right that's a big range! My lowest ever temp was 36.15 and highest ever was 36.90 so my range is 0.75°. Can your range really be 2°?

Also are you CD15 now and also 7dpo? You ovulated on CD8? That's very early and leads me to suspect I have completely misinterpreted every single thing on your chart 🤣🤣🤣

So i think the 5 is the 5th of October, so it goes up on the 6th which is when i got my positive ovulation test but then just bobs about up there, never coming back down to my pre ovulation temperature, i didn't know if that was a positive thing - im not sure how reliable the fit bit is with that kind of thing.

Well the post-O temps look fine, but it's difficult to say if they are higher than your pre-O temps without the data from September. From this October data it looks like your temps have not risen and you have not ovulated, but it could be that those high temps pre-O are just anomalies and the September temps generally lower. Some spikes are okay - you are looking for an average of lower temps pre-O and an average of higher ones post-O.

I believe that skin worn thermometers are generally not considered sensitive enough for bbt, and therefore you might want to consider this chart interesting but not actually informative in terms of whether/when you have ovulated. If you are interested you should definitely fork out a tenner for a bbt thermometer 😁

I tested at teatime today so 11Dpo and it was negative 😔 I'm going to try and miss testing again tomorrow and then try Monday morning, if there's any possibility then surely it will be showing by then? Xx

AF has arrived so its back to cycle day 1 xx I'm gutted 😢 xx

@VanessaShanessaJenkins99 I'm CD2 again 🙄 But at least this last cycle was a good one, my bbt was back to normal. The previous cycles (since the MC) were all over the place hormonally, which was obvious from my chart. So at least this cycle I could have conceived iyswim. It makes me feel better!

We found out the gender on Monday. We got the letter and did the balloon. It's a GIRL 💕💕

@SureLook wow another girl! (Your first is a daughter, I seem to vaguely remember?!) Did you have secret hopes for girl/boy or did you not mind at all?

Not sure about TTC. I still want a third, but at the same time I want to stop TTC. It's hard to explain, but it's like I can't get on with my life until I know for sure how many family members I'm going to have. I'm weird!

@GrizzlyTheBear yes, you are correct. I already have a daughter so it'll be a house full of girls. I would have liked a boy cause we'll be done after this. But now I'm happy that my DD will have a little sister. I hope they'll be besties!

You're not weird, I get it. If you knew when it was gonna happen you'd continue on. It's all the unknowns that make it so hard to know when to stop!

I have been seeing loads about the cough medicine thing! i think its Guaifenesin - i might try that this cycle - it cant do any harm lol

That G ingredient is for Mucus and apparently it helps with the mucus down there helping get the swimmers right up!
I fell into a massive Tik Tok worm hole on it lol

I'm 2dpo, and yes we did try this month 🙄 It's really hard to stop.
