Ah I see @VanessaShanessaJenkins99 . I suppose at least with the OPKs you'll hopefully know where in your cycle you are so they can actually compare them to the correct cycle stage, whatever that is! And get you back a few days later if needed 🤞

@SureLook there would be a 3 year gap now. I'd be fine with that gap between two children if we had two, but with a small gap between our first two it seems unfair on the third one in case they are left out. Also a much younger third might hold the older two back - like in terms of how adventurous we can be as a family. But then on the flip side, most of their life is lived as adults and a three year gap doesn't matter then.

@VanessaShanessaJenkins99 hopefully they'll get you back in if you ovulate a bit later like normal.

So there's definitely a baby in there this time! Measuring on time, and we saw the little flicker of the heartbeat. I asked about the progesterone, and they prescribed it for me. They said it only helps if bleeding is the cause of losses. It won't help if it's chromosomal or anything like that. I'm still at normal risk of miscarriage like everyone else, so not out of the woods just yet, but it's a bit reassuring, at least!

How are you doing ? I'm 7DPO today !! Very nearly caved and tested !! I really want to wait until my period should be due next Saturday but I know I won't be able to !

Hello ladies! So far so good here. Just lying down after inserting my progesterone 😂 I'm very tired and bloated and meh. My boobs are absolutely on fire tonight so all good signs I suppose. I've booked my NIPT for the 30th of September and I've my booking appointment and 12 week scan on the 14th of October. I'm 7 weeks currently, 8 on Monday. I've been anxious this week cause 7 weeks is a bit of a trigger for me cause that's when the MMC baby passed and when we discovered the blighted ovum. I'm trying to take it one day at a time!

@VanessaShanessaJenkins99 very exciting. When are you gonna try and hold out until?

@GrizzlyTheBear how are you feeling about this month?

@GrizzlyTheBear I'm not sure ! We had so much sex over my fertile window and I'm taking all the supplements so I'm not sure what else I can do - I just worry that each month that passes by I have even less chance !

My blood test results came back through on my app - every single one says normal - no further action- so that's something positive I guess!.

8 weeks on Monday @SureLook that's flown ! I dont think the anxiety ever goes away ! I'm praying for a positive test but then I know the worry will just move on to something else !

@VanessaShanessaJenkins99 that's great that the bloods came back good. Do you have any other tests scheduled?

I know. It's mad really. That's exactly it. The BFP is the beginning of the anxiety unfortunately.

I've just done a test !!! Why !!! I'm only 7dpo ffs 🙈🙈🙈 of course it was negative !

@SureLook I think time moves differently when you're pregnant. I read your 12 week scan is on 14th October and thought, oh that's just round the corner. But I bet that seems like a year to you!
I'm feeling okay about this month. We've done what we can do just wait and see. We didn't even exactly officially 'try' but I don't think either of us are quite ready to give up yet. But how long do you keep going, ooh just one more month 🤷 Going to have to stop some time, but I want to feel sure about stopping iyswim. Or sure about carrying on!

@GrizzlyTheBear that's exactly it. Time drags in the first trimester and you're paranoid about every little thing.
I know what you mean. You wanna feel 100% certain about your decision. Whether it's to continue or not. Fingers crossed for this month 🤞🏻

Morning :) - I am 10DPO today - did a test this morning and it was negative - i just feel so disheartened. :( I am trying to think that its ok, i have my little boy, if i am a mum of one then thats fine but im just sad deep down :(

@VanessaShanessaJenkins99 I know it's annoying to hear but you are still early. There's still time.
Me and DP have had that conversation about only having one child if we have more losses. There is benefits too it but I agree on the sad part. You'll always wonder what it would have been like.

I feel for you both. I would have been really sad if we had not been able to have DC2. I think it's very different to not being able to have a third/fourth etc. I really hope it all works out for you ❤️

@VanessaShanessaJenkins99 on one of mine I got a negative on 11dpo (internet cheapie) and then a positive later on. So I wouldn't count yourself out just yet - you are still 6 days before missed period.

@VanessaShanessaJenkins99 how's it going? Have you tested again?

Hey - ive been testing all week!! I think AF has just started though :( i was expecting it tomorrow evening as it always comes on the evening of 14DPO.
I am upset - another month has passed - but i just need to try and keep positive and pray that it will happen for me xx

@VanessaShanessaJenkins99 I'm sorry 😞 It's such a rubbish time of the month. I think it's a design flaw that you get this bad news at the same time as PMT.
I really hope next month is the one 🤞

I really hope so - i keep thinking about @SureLook when she was testing negative and then had what she thought was her period start and then it stopped and he tested positive! I think that's just wishful thinking though:( xx

@VanessaShanessaJenkins99 how are you today? Is your period in full flow now? It's just shite isn't it? As Grizzly said, PMS at the same time as bad news is definitely a design flaw. It makes everything so much worse.

So all night there was just a bit of brown on the pad, I put a tampon in this morning but it was so dry it was quite painful! So ive just got a pad on, little bit of blood - usually days 1 and 2 I'm changing the tampon every few hours and also wearing a pad ! I have a really dull ache right down there. Xx
