It's at this point that I suddenly realise I've got 10 days to get my life in order before I become incapacitated for two months 🤣 How long have you got?!

@GrizzlyTheBear oh god 🥴 I've never really gotten proper sickness in pregnancy so I'm hoping this time is the same. I would feel off and a bit meh but I've never vomited. Apart from when I had heartburn towards the end 😂

Oh fingers crossed it's the same this time then! When will you have an early scan this time?

@GrizzlyTheBear fingers crossed 🤞🏻 I'm gonna ring the EPU tomorrow and see if they'll see me next Monday when I'm six weeks. They said to contact them at 6/7 weeks but I'd rather six so I can start on the progesterone sooner rather than later. Assuming everything is OK, of course.

Haha no! I just meant that in all my previous pregnancies it's at this point I start to panic 😂

I have my appointment in the EPU for Thursday the 4th of September at 10am. Hopefully, if all looks OK, I'll be starting on the progesterone 🤞🏻

I always think these first weeks drag so much!! I am back to ovulation testing! I am cycle day 9 today! So last night we dtd - every other day from cycle day 8 until my peak and then on the day of the peak and the day after!
I also spoke to the doctors as back in May they said about doing the blood tests to make sure everything was ok - but then i fell pregnant on that cycle so didnt need to go. So that appointment is next Wednesday when ill be cycle day 16 - i got my peak last cycle on day 16 so fingers crossed that will be ok to show the right results!

@VanessaShanessaJenkins99 I know, it really does drag. You just wanna make it to 12 weeks and then it's 20 weeks. The anxiety of it all!
That's great that you're getting bloods. Sounds like you're well covered with your plan for DTD too 👏🏻

I try not to worry about things and think it will all work out in the end but its so hard not to get caught up in all the statistics relating to my age!

@VanessaShanessaJenkins99 no, it's Thursday at 10am. I'm six weeks today. I've been feeling more tired and low energy and even a bit of nausea which I've never had before. So fingers crossed 🤞🏻

So i am cycle day 13 today - so im coming up to when i should be ovulating - so we are having lots of sexy time! - I have my blood test Wednesday so hopefully it picks up what it needs to and its not too early in the cycle :/

@SureLook that sounds promising. I hope so much you have a successful pregnancy this time. Thursday is not long!
@VanessaShanessaJenkins99 is your blood test supposed to be around ovulation time? What hormones are they testing?

@SureLook I think we've basically decided to stop at two kids, due to the bigger age gap we would now have. But we are procrastinating a bit in making a final decision and actually using contraception. It's hard to come to terms with only having two when we always wanted three. I feel like rolling the dice for one more cycle (or two?!) but also I think if we got pregnant now I'd really worry about the age gap. I'm stuck! DH feels similar.

@GrizzlyTheBear I understand your dilemma. What would the age gap be if you caught now?

Yeah @GrizzlyTheBear - it was 14 day bloods - i did say to her at the time that i was ovulating around day 20 at that point so would it actually show what they needed to see and she said its a starting point - ive been tracking my ovulation and the line is so light - but looking back at previous cycles it does stay light for days and then boom peak! So god knows -
