Trying for a baby while breastfeeding?

Hi! I’m just starting trying to conceive baby number 3 while still breastfeeding a very hungry 20 month old, and wondering if anyone else is in the same boat and wants to share the journey? There was one of these threads when I was trying to conceive no. 2 and I found it really helpful!
My cycles are still not very regular, they only returned when DC2 was 17months, and I haven’t been tracking anything so technically May would be my first month trying, assuming AF shows up sometime soon!
Looking forward to hearing from others in the same boat, hopefully!

I was accidentally conceived whilst my mum was breastfeeding. I was a happy accident but my mum has always warned me “breastfeeding is not a contraceptive” 😂

There is another thread on here with quite a few ladies going through the same! I joined when I was breastfeeding my little girl, I’ll try and tag it. I’ve stopped feeding now but my cycles were so irregular it made it hard to know what was going on
