TTC after ectopic

Hi ladies, just wondering if anyone else is in the same boat. I had a ruptured ectopic at the start of Feb and lost a tube, now back to ttc. This month was our first trying again but no success! We’re trying for baby no2. Is anyone else ttc after an ectopic?

I'm not in the same boat now, but I had a ruptured ectopic and lost a tube, and got pregnant not long after. I have two children now. Good luck.

My tube didn't rupture but I did have surgery to remove it due to ectopic. I was told to wait one cycle and then I could try again. The first cycle trying I got pregnant but had an early miscarriage, but I then got pregnant again immediately off the back of that and my baby was born last August (with his due date on the same date I had the surgery!) I used ovulation test strips to help because I was worried my fertility would be affected, but clearly all was fine.

I had the same situation as SuperGinger. I was told that I conceived with an egg from my tubeless side so my remaining tube must have been covering both

I had an ectopic last year and lost my tube. Started TTC again this January with no luck yet. My cycles have been a bit all over the place since surgery but reassuring to read ladies who have gone onto have healthy pregnancies. Best of luck! X

@SuperGinger @ByDreamyMintNewt @Shortbreadstar thank you all for responding, that gives me hope!! I haven’t had trouble concieving in the past but it’s a bit worrying in case it does have an effect

@pinkrose001 my last cycle was a bit all over too, I ovulated late and my luteal phase was shorter than typical! I guess thats to be expected though although it’s fustrating xx
